We should definitely send a clear message to these spineless sponsors, and we should also send a positive message by supporting the sponsors who did not cave in.
In one way we do owe Fluke an apology for letting our culture keep sliding towards Gomorrah (as Robert Bork put it). That’s a sin of omission for which I must atone. Women have been brainwashed into believing that there’s no difference between the sexes and therefore if a man can hook-up “consequence free” so to speak, a woman should also be able to enjoy that so-called freedom. Of course it’s a big lie, but you have to feel sympathy for the likes of Fluke just as Christ had compassion for the prostitute facing stoning. What’s rarely mentioned is Christ’s last words to her - “go and sin no more”.
Which proves Rush was WRONG... this had better show up in his accuracy report.

Hannity is a fraud anyway who is afraid of upsetting the likes of his pals such as Beckel or the establishment like Perino.
Why anyone has not noticed how Hannty is a fraud is beyond me.
The man harps on about his week as a blue collar worker as a teenager or who he won’t mention conservative social issues and even has said he doens’;t care about it and people can parry who ever they want, i.e. homosexuals.
Then there is establishment elitist pals on his show nearly every night.
He’s never broke any facts on any issues, he’s tried to say he was behind reporting on ACORN when it were Beck, hell the man is a fraud and he proved it when I and other vets tried to call his show to mention the don’;t ask policy only for him to put the phone down or tell us those issues are not being talked about.
I can tell you...that Hannity was a guy back in '07-'08 that was speaking out...loud and clear about Obama's past. And seemed for awhile he was one of the only ones...........

People are right when they say this is not a freedom of speech issue, but only in a specific way. Advertisers are free to advertise with whom they please, and we are free to buy from whomever we wish.
However, this is a direct offshoot of an ongoing cultural and legislative effort by the left for fifty years to inhibit speech by contolling language.
It is working.
What the left is doing here is not legislative, it is cultural. But legislation is never far behind.
How many apologies has Rush offered to those of us who went out on a limb and defended his right to free speech and the correctness of what he said? We contacted his advertisers and dropped their products or told them we wouldn't consider buying their products. We backed him up 100%. And now he grovels before the Sandra Flukes of the world and meekly admits he was wrong. And not a single word of apology to those who now feel foolish for defending him!!
I am convinced that Rush is all about Rush, not about beating the Left. I costs a lot of $$$ to support his Palm Beach compound and live his lavish lifestyle. He can't afford to lose many more advertisers. After all, Carbonite and ProFlowers are hardly Microsoft and ExxonMobil.

Free Republic is obviously full of the same fools, who have not done 1/1,000,000th for the conservative movement that Rush has.
Rush will have sponsors. His ratings are too high. His “apology” is “rope-a-dope.” He gets to reiterate his points again, and make his case to an even larger segment of America, who are tuned in more than ever.
I've emailed every sponsor on the list, and now I will call their toll free numbers and give them a piece of my mind. Free speech, you know. We must stand up and USE IT.

Ha! Last year alone I had 4 birthdays I sent flowers on and two “thinking of you” arrangements I sent after funerals. Most years I send flowers for birthdays but this year, they won’t come from Proflowers!
Bull——. Rush was great today. I have listened to him since 1991 so by that experience he sounded sincere. He admitted his mistake, something that know-it-alls on this site do not have the balls to do.
