If you think about it, Andrew Breitbart's untimely passing from this life, at age 43, might be seen as the ultimate message that this man of media could deliver.
Breitbart famously used his media talent, particularly his facility with new media and new journalism, to fight the agenda of the left.
And what could strike more effectively at the heart of the left's premises than the inscrutable death of a young and prodigiously talented, successful man -- a husband and father to four young children -- who still was scaling the heights of achievement?
The inconceivable and unanticipated are the rule of our lives, rather than the exception. Nothing more clearly delineates the political left from the political right than appreciation of this fact.
The left, after all, is about the pretense of planning, power and control. It's about the belief that man -- political man -- can define and control the world and can appoint himself the final authority to determine what is fair and then mete out justice.
The first words on this subject were spoken by the serpent to Eve about the prohibition on eating fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
"You will not surely die," the serpent told Eve, "for God knows that on the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."
In his new book, "Coming Apart," social scientist Charles Murray provides a troubling snapshot of America, showing how the collapse of traditional values corresponds with our growing economic and achievement problems.
Murray quotes a 19th-century European immigrant to America, Francis Grund, who anticipated exactly what is happening today:
"Change the domestic habits of Americans, their religious devotion, and their high respect for morality, and it will not

Those comments sum up the political environment around Minneapolis. Thus I turn my back on that place.
Rush has the audience, broad shoulders and the platform. God Bless him and those who will stand up to *Democrat Propaganda*. Ms. Fluke looks like a fool and just got a lesson into what it’s like to play with the big-dogs.
Whomever invited her to speak to the committee hearing, sure showed their hand.

Hopefully Rush will have this additional information for Monday, that Ms. Fluke is not an ordinary promiscuous college twat, but a professional agitator whose sole reason for enrolling at Georgetown was to try to have that once-Catholic institution forced to hand out contraceptives.
Law Students for Reproductive Justice...I just glanced over their website and still don’t know what *reproductive justice* is. Heh.
I do know that they are very against *criminalizing abortion*. Well, what is it, but murder? These people are so warped.
I think “reproductive justice” means that whatever choices they make regarding reproducing or not reproducing, someone else will pay for everything. If they don’t want to have children, then contraceptives and abortion must be provided at no cost and no inconvenience to them. If they do want to have children, then they will do so at no cost to themselves, and with no interference from the sperm donor, whether he was present at the time of conception or not, and the costs of rearing the child will be borne by the public, not by themselves.
Cool, it’s like naming one’s own reality and Critical Race Theory..it means whatever I say it means. Thanks for the explanation...now we can expect more radical multiculturalists like Ms. Fluke running around shoving their deconstructionism tripe down our gullets. Next she’ll be telling us that she is a victim of decades/centuries of phallogocentric thinking.
That is a flaw, but I still love her for divorcing herself so far from the Dim party...
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: If these people want “reproductive justice” I’m sure there are lots of folks who would volunteer their money to have them all sterilized. I would, but only if it is irreversible.
“Activists” like this usually don’t want sterilization, no matter who’s paying, because their egos might call for a mini-me at some point in the future. “Justice” is having what they want when they want it, not limiting their options.
Oh I totally understand that. But I still vote for sterilization for the left. Without anesthesia.
I had the same impression. Rush spent the better part of two days on this subject, to the point that he repeated himself a few times, and it struck me as very unusual. That's when I thought of Breitbart.
That would be he.

Quoth Andrew, "For the rest of my life, I don't know how I can repay him."
As lives go, that's a vast overpayment.
"These people live the life of the one percent. This was the greatest one-percent dinner I've ever been to."
Star Parker, Tammy Bruce, Andrew Breitbart ... there is nothing the left both fears and despises more than a person who was once one of them.
