A self-described hip-hop/goth/pop and funk musician whose stage name is Black Madam was being held on $10-million bond and could face murder charges in the case of a London dancer who died last year after receiving an illegal buttocks-enhancing injection.

Padge Victoria Windslowe was in court in Philadelphia on Thursday, a day after she was arrested while preparing to host what police described as a "pumping party" at which she planned to deliver more injections to customers. Police said that when officers arrested Windslowe, they also seized heavy-duty glue, needles, gloves and bottles -- items officials said were to be used for procedures for which people paid Windslowe as much as $1,800.

Windslowe, 42, faces charges that include criminal conspiracy, aggravated assault, theft by deception, deceptive business practices, possession of an instrument of crime, simple assault and reckless endangerment of another person in connection with a procedure that left a 23-year-old woman critically ill. Lt. John Walker of the Philadelphia police told Philly.com that she also is a "person of interest" in the death of Claudia Aderotimi of London, who died last year after Windslowe reportedly injected her in a hotel room near the Philadelphia airport. Aderotimi had apparently made the trip in hopes of getting some cosmetic surgery on the cheap.

Here in East Texas, too. You can't make this stuff up. She filled them up with automobile gasket maker, then put super glue and cotton ball over the hole to keep it from leaking back out. I guess the guv'ment needs to start subsidizing this for public safety issues, too. Details below.

A Tyler woman police said used her hair salon to perform illegal medical procedures such as breast augmentations was in a Smith County Jail on Tuesday following her arrest on charges of practicing medicine without a license.

Carmel Mitchelle Foster, owner of Queen Divas on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, was transported from Marshall to Tyler and placed in the Smith County Jail on bonds totaling $200,000.

Authorities released documents Tuesday including the arrest affidavit detailing the procedures Ms. Foster is accused of performing on two women, and a list of items taken from the salon including a tube of gasket maker, typically used in the automotive industry.

One “patient” of the woman was placed in intensive care at a Longview hospital after she developed a pneumothorax (a buildup of air) in each lung and blood in both lungs and had to be placed on a ventilator.

In the arrest affidavit prepared by Tyler Police Detective Andy Erbaugh, the victim who was hospitalized said as Ms. Foster performed the procedure, which consisted of injecting 12 syringes full of a clear gel substance into her body, she felt severe pain.

“She stated her breast immediately swelled up and the gel began pouring out of the needle holes. She stated the suspect put super glue on the hole and placed a cotton swab on the super glue,” the affidavit states.

Erbaugh stated in the affidavit the woman experienced shortness of breath and pain in her chest.

Foster told the women she was working under the direction of a doctor in Houston and was using a saline solution gel in the procedures.

The second victim has told police she has developed a rash around the injection site and is now under a physician's care.

The second woman also told police that she paid $600 for a half job and that her cousin paid $800 for a full job.

The women both said the procedure was done in a back room on a couch full of laundry. According to a list of items seized from Queen Divas on a search warrant, volumes of needles and syringes of various sizes, packages of Krazy Glue, rubber gaskets, latex gloves, cyclobenzaprine (a muscle relaxer), pseudoephedrine (sinus medication) methylprednisolone (a corticosteroid drug), surgical tape, a bloody cotton ball, a jar with unknown substance and an open tube of Gasket Maker Super Clear silicone were taken from the salon.

Guess who is paying for the hospital care after these charlatans do their mishief?

Sebelius will demand that cosmetic surgery be included under Obamacare claiming that to exclude it will cause more back alley boob jobs.

Remember - you heard it here first.
