Leaked emails between Palm Beach Post and Michael McAuliffe reveal liberal bias

BizPac Review has obtained hundreds of pages of email correspondence between Palm Beach Post employees and State Attorney Michael McAuliffe that appear to show an unusually close relationship between McAuliffe and both Palm Beach Post Editorial Page Editor Randy Schultz and Editorial Board member Rhonda Swan.

The relationship appears so close that McAuliffe, Schultz and Swan felt comfortable enough with one another to bash Gov. Rick Scott, Jeb Bush and state Senate President Mike Haridopolos and to downplay Attorney General Pam Bondi's role in closing pill mills, while lamenting the lack of recognition for McAuliffe's efforts.

In the following email, McAuliffe accuses Gov. Scott of "posturing" on pill mills while Swan expresses her dismay that "we've got four years of him":

Snip

Many of the emails are just back and forth between members of the press and one of their sources. What's revealing about this group of emails is the partisan nature of the discussions and the obvious understanding between McAuliffe and the Palm Beach Post that Republicans cannot possibly be decent people or have any legitimate motives for their actions.

While it is no surprise to any conservative in Florida that the Palm Beach Post is a liberal rag, now there is proof, in writing.

“We didn’t kill those people or steal that money, we just helped the crooks get away.”

Never heard the analogy used for the press with that quote. How incredibly accurate! I live in Palm Beach County. I prefer the Sun Sentinel and maybe now the bizpac.

I guess it also says something about McAuliffe. Doesn’t it make you wonder if they know the real reason he is resigning, at the Palm Beach Post? Makes you kind of wonder if they would let him spin his own story if they did know.

It is what we’ve known all along. Thank you for pulling back the curtain. The Post is hanging by a thread. They are advertising their paper in their own paper and people still aren’t buying it - their paper or their ideology.
