They were democrats. One of them said we should not be so concerned about defeating liberal senator Amy Klobuchar this year, but concentrate on removing senator Franken in 2 years. They would end every sentence with “and beat 0bama”, as if that was our only concern.

The Paulbots have a grasp of economics, these fools didn’t. One tried to get the Bowles-Simpson Plan endorsed.

>>”Libtards becoming delegates at GOP conventions.”

>”I am more concerned about Paulbots.”

I’m not sure there is much of a difference anymore.

The Stupid Party has open primaries, why not open conventions.

It is, after all, the next logical step in letting your enemies pick your candidates.

Fix that before you come whining to me that the Evil Party is following your rules.

Sorry, for any confusion, it was late last last night and I was tired.

Yesterday was our county convention in MN, which delegates from the townships attended. Several democrat activists had been to the caucuses and provided bogus addresses. These were small townships so they could easily become delegates.

At the county convention, they were trying to become delegates to the state convention, where we finally select our candidates. The presidential candidate is awarded our delegates at the state convention, all things can change at the state convention.

The treasurer said he mailed invitations to the district convention to all delegates; over 10% of them were returned due to unknown address. He mailed those again; they were returned again.

The treasurer said that in the past, around 25% of the county delegates actually attend the state convention.

Here is the problem:
There were delegates in attendance that many thought were democrats, and were actual residents (probably registered as Republicans). There were activists in attendance that had bogus addresses. If only 25% of the real republican delegates attend the state convention, these activists have an actual chance of swaying who our nominee is, as well as disrupting the convention.

yes, so why not tell us what happened? There is no voter list at the convention or before confirming that the DELEGATES who were attending (having been elected at the caucuses) were registered Republicans at the address they gave? That is required at our caucuses in CT (non-presidential) and IA and Maine.

So how many delegates did the county elect on SATURDAY?
What were the vote totals?
Did Santorum get most of the delegates?
was it held at Fergus Falls town hall or a school?
How many people were there?

I will be contacting the treasurer today, I will post those numbers as soon as I can.

This was meant to be a warning. If you are a delegate in MN, make sure you attend the state convention.

My buddy checked the township for the activists addresses, and they don’t exist. There are about 50 residents of that township. ACORN has a strong presence in MN. They must have found a way to register these clowns; remember hearing of Mickey Mouse on voter rolls? Our Secretary of State, Mark Ritchie, was an ACORN activist, and helped put Al Franken into office by not investigating voter fraud.

Why did you mention Fergus Falls? Are you doing a little background research on me? The convention was at a city 40 miles from there, but I live near Fergus Falls.

Who are you?

I’m not sure if economics is what drives most of the Paulbot fanatics. Those are just the issues Paul focuses on to look like a legitimate Republican, and to gain “soft” support for votes. As far as his base is concerned, anti-war, anti-patriot-act is probably their biggest motivator. Legalizing drugs and a hatred of where Republicans stand on other moral/social issues is probably their next biggest motivator. Very few of them would vote for another Republican if Paul doesn’t win. They say they’ll either vote for the Libertarian candidate or for Obama.

You are correct, I was wrong, the activists were Paulbots! I cannot tell the difference between them and libtards. They are fans of big government agencies (ex. EPA), pro-abortion, but dislike the military. One of the two that were the most outspoken is an agroecologist. She appeared to be a hippie and is an organic farmer. Her hippie “husband”, had a different last name and works for a vegetable farm. A couple of undocumented hippies.

By the way, the female hippie received more votes than I did (we are both alternates), so she will likely be a delegate if she can produce some sort of proof of citizenship. I hope our elected delegates take this seriously this year!

Greetings horsappl:

Thanks for your report of MN democRats in GOP clothing.

One of the most interesting developments over the last week, Adam Kokesh, a George Soros sock puppet, busy leading the Veterans for Ron Paul march at the White House.

Used to believe RuPaul was a harmless Libertarian kook, now I understand RuPaul is a useful idiot.

Cheers,
OLA

Hmm, that’s unfortunate. It sounds like the Paulbots are having some success gaming the delegate system. How did you find out they are Ron Paul supporters? Are you saying she’s an alternate to the state convention right now, so would still be a few steps away from making it to the national convention, or does she have her ticket there now too?

There is probably even a segment of Ron Paul supporters who would never even vote for him in the fall if he was the nominee. They just happen to like him best of the Republicans but still like Obama better. It doesn’t quite make sense that a Ron Paul supporter would be for the EPA, but they may strictly like him for his anti-war or socially liberal policies and not his economic policies.

I saw one of the activists name on the list of alternates to the district convention. I did a search of her name, and she was a Ron Paul delegate in 2008, so I assume she hasn’t changed her colors. I assume all her friends are fellow travelers because rest of us were becoming quite annoyed with them, and we were quickly able to pass an amendment to require a photo id, which their group voted against.

If she gets into the district convention, she may make it to the state convention, along with her buddies.
