So why does Buffet’s secretary pay more in federal income tax than Buffet himself? Because she earns a higher salary than he does. He is gaming the system by receiving $85,000 in salary (the lowest amount legally that a CEO of a major corporation can earn).

But of course the Liar-in-Chief as well as the MSM don’t mention this fact.

If we were all equal, as the liberals like to expound, we would all pay the same tax rate, even the lowest among us. They want to create a system of inequality and call it equality...........

Yes, or at least he’s tricked himself into thinking he is. Only the form his income takes, capital gains, is taxed before it finds its way into his hands. You may have heard of the “corporate tax.” So it turns out that even though he personally isn’t assessed, nevertheless he’s effectively taxed more than his secretary. Which stands to reason, since none but fools think the government would allow a man like Buffet to get away with forking over a measely 15%.

All this hullabaloo over fairness vis a vis Buffet and his poor, rich secretary is accounting legerdemain. They want to tax corporate profits more, that’s all.
