Newt Gingrich will be back in Georgia Sunday Morning, February 26. He will be at First Redeemer Church in Cumming at 10:30am.
TOPICS: News/Current Events; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: ga; newt
Dr. Richard Lee, Senior Pastor of First Redeemer, has endorsed Newt for President. He was contacted by the Santorum campaign asking for a place for him to speak last weekend. Dr. Lee was gracious and said yes. Santorum had a large turnout and spoke at length about rebuilding our country by rebuilding and strengthening the family. While I don't disagree that the family is the foundation for a moral people, it is going to take a whole lot more than that to save our Republic. My Christian Homeschool friends were all swayed to him however NOW they will get to here some SUBSTANCE.

You have to wonder if conservatives actually want substance or just boilerplate speeches and feel-good cliches at this point.

If you judge the answer to that question by the direction of conservative radio talkers such as Rush and Levin, the sad answer seems to be they are thrilled with the boilerplate and the feel good.
Not to mention the current polls...

That's wonderful. Newt said he wanted to go to all corners of America to speak and to let people see who he is vs. the media telling the country who he is. Newt, is a fighter and is what the nation needs to tackle our out of control Obama. If we don't save America, first on the spending and change the policies due to broken unconstitutional laws, people will not even have a country to practice any faith. We need to save the republic ..

My birthplace. LOL..of course I have only been back three times to see Granny. Not many of my kin left since Lake Lanier became exclusive property and the chicken plants were taken over by illegals. Lake Lanier rocks though.

Really! We attended First Redeemer for 11 years. We are friends with all of the pastors and still have lots of friends there. We are at Free Chapel in Gainesville now.
