Would this be a body blow to the Gingrich campaign?
This is so much bogus nonsense. I recently wrote this when a Santo guy who went trolling. Seems appropriate to re-post it here:

A great many of the contributors to Romney’s political action committee were corporate lobbyists or lobbying firms.
One of those firms was Arent Fox LLC. Arent Fox gave Mitt Romney back in May of 2010, right in the middle of the big health care reform hullaballoo.
Arent Fox just so happens to have lobbied the federal government on behalf of Watson Pharmaceuticals at that time. Another lobbying client of Arent Fox last year was Admetech, another pharmaceuticals company.
As I recall, the Gingrich campaign didn’t have any funds before October of last year. Most likely all expenses till that time were paid by Gingrich, his family and staff. When the campaign did start to receive more substantial donations, they probably sought to collect for all the preceding outlays.
As I also recall, back in the ‘08 campaign, Rudy was riding high as the frontrunner thru almost all of ‘07, then out of nowhere McCain emerged. Before that, he was shown carrying his own bags through airports. His staff were working without pay or reimbursement through that period. I’d bet once he caught on and that campaign received funding, they were able to be reimburse for the preceding period.

You mean to tell me Wa-Times that the Gingrich campaign still reported it to the FEC?? They can't be that dumb if they were going to embezzle the cash. You can put 10s of thousands dollars on personal credit depending how much credit you have or even pay it out of pocket to front campaign expenses. Campaigns are expensive. Just bupkis and Rino BS.
The only one who will be left standing next November is 0bama. Everybody else will be destroyed by the 0bama machine and the news media (but, I repeat myself).

I am fascinated in the article by all the careful campaign accountancy rules we have.
Re Gingrich, he is a man who can aptly fight false allegations or innuendo. Let’s see how he does in the coming days. Either he’s being slammed here over nothing, or he’s been financially sloppy. And if the latter, was it because of disorganization or bad intent?
Giving him a pass here so far.
