A great many of the contributors to Romneys political action committee were corporate lobbyists or lobbying firms.
One of those firms was Arent Fox LLC. Arent Fox gave Mitt Romney back in May of 2010, right in the middle of the big health care reform hullaballoo.
Arent Fox just so happens to have lobbied the federal government on behalf of Watson Pharmaceuticals at that time. Another lobbying client of Arent Fox last year was Admetech, another pharmaceuticals company.
Wealthy business associates who want to give to a super PAC supporting Mr. Romney have formed shell corporations so donor disclosures show only a cryptically-named company without saying where that company got its money.
