Lovely. Just what you want to hear from the actress who plays Mrs. Palin in the soon-to-be-released HBO film, Game Change. Julianne Moore says she found her theatrical muse terrifying.
Actually, Moores quote about SP is neither as ideological nor as personal as the headline makes it sound. NewsBusters supplies the context:
Moore explained how she recognized Palins political appeal:
Heres a woman whos a parent, whos an actual working mother, who worked her way up from local government, who was definitely middle working class, married to a commercial fisherman .She was incredibly relatable, she was attractive, she was young; she was speaking to a wide portion of the population that didnt feel that theyd been noticed or seen or heard.
In her February 14 item (posted on February 13) Julianne Moore: Sarah Palin was pretty terrifying, Schwab quoted Moore:
I would say, as a registered Democrat and longtime liberal, I think that I speak for a lot of women when I say that when [Palin] burst onto the scene, the way that she did that was pretty terrifying because I really felt like, Oh my gosh, the Republicans might have this election, Moore recalled of her first perceptions of Palin back in 2008. She was so electrifying as a figure, it kind of blew everyone away.

I find Julianne Moore pretty terrifying.
So instead she did the smart thing and voted for a guy with no real experience, a feverishly guarded past and who admits to being mentored by and attracted to “radicals”.....GF yourself, Ms. Moore.....
Julianne Who?
Without makeup, Moore is very terrifying.
I wish Palin had stayed on the scene, she would be on her way to the White House right now.
For the pasty-looking, atrophied old Julianne Moore to play Sarah Palin, they must have brought in one heck of a make up artist. Moore played in one movie I saw where she did not look like the wreck of the Hesperus — some pretty good flick with Pierce Brosnan. Other than that, she is pretty terrifying.
If Team McCain hadn’t been made up of Mittbots looking to sabotage her and Sen. McCain hadn’t suspended the campaign to rush back and work on & vote for TARP, she might be vice president right now. Think about that.
Did you read the story? I was surprised that she actually didn’t say what the title claimed. I would imagine that purposely put that title in because that gets more hits than boring, “I was frightened when the Republican chose her, we will lose the election because she is so electrifying”.
I will never forget that speech Palin gave when they announced she was the VP nominee.
WOW
I honestly thought the election was over at that exact moment. Little did I know that Mclame would be SO bad that even with Palin he couldn’t win.
I find Julianne Moore a terrifyingly terrible non-talented one note so-called actress. Why is she in darn near every movie made?
Is she Nicholas Cage in drag??
She looked AWFUL in the one where she played a lesbian who ran a landscaping business. Don’t recall (or care to look up) the name of it.
Man if ya’ll think Julianne looks bad without makeup. You should see her in person. I am scarred for life after seeing her walking around in San Fransicko. The sunglasses she was wearing weren’t big enough to hide that ugly ass mug!
Liberalism apparently also is like leprosy, visually.
...a parent, whos an actual working mother, who worked her way up from local government, who was definitely middle working class, married to a commercial fisherman .She was incredibly relatable, she was attractive, she was young; she was speaking to a wide portion of the population that didnt feel that theyd been noticed or seen or heard.
Yup...that’s pretty spooky! (sarc)
Actually, that stuff WOULD be pretty scary to Liberals who are conditioned to representation typically put forward by unions/political insiders/the MSM/the DC culture, etc.
Also, I don’t think ‘relatable’ is a word...but since Liberals are supposed to be so much smarter than I am, I’ll giver her that one.
Heinlein nailed it.
Sounds like Ms Moore was pretty taken with Sarah Palin. Of course if she were to admit that she would be ostracized from the Hollywood herd. And at her age that's death.
you got that right, they should win an emmy if they get Moore to look like Palin.
I met and spoke with Governor Palin. She did not have much makeup on. She looked beautiful and exuded charisma. Sarah is much prettier in person. She is also quite petite.
Have you seen the movie trailer for “Iron Sky” with a parodied, Palin look-a-like as POTUS?

As Hanoi Jane did, playing a slut was the only thing worth noting about her.....
Yeah me too!
