In a blow to Mitt Romney's presidential campaign, Sarah Palin said Sunday that she's "not convinced" the former Massachusetts governor is conservative enough to do Republicans' bidding in the White House.
Palin, the former governor of Alaska, said the GOP presidential field remains wide open because Romney's past positions on healthcare, abortion and other issues have been moderate-to-liberal, leaving Republicans confused about what he'd do as commander-in-chief.
"Most voters in the GOP, and Independents, we will want to see that candidate who we can trust will just inherently, instinctively turn right always err on the side of conservatism," Palin said on Fox News Sunday. "I am not convinced [Romney is that person]. And I don't think that the majority of GOP and Independent voters are convinced, and that is why you don't see Romney get over that hump."

("If you wanna take down Barack Obama, you gotta vote Newt." My two cents.)
She should hush, because the Conservative Political Action Club, drank the Romney Kool Aid and voted him the best conservative speaker at their little event this past weekend.
Therefore they endorsed a Massachusetts Liberal.
Shows you how much they know.
Wait until the convention -- you may get to vote for Sarah in full-fireball mode. Be fun to see a stampeded convention, and Maureen Dowd hurling herself out of her pressbox to the convention floor below.
(I can dream, can't I?)
One look at his actions will tell you he is not a conservative. He is as left as Obama. Why bother giving him the chance to lie more. That’s the one thing he is good at.
It's chaos here at the Republican National Convention Chris.
It is clear to all conservatives that she is saying loud and clear..."HE AIN'T ONE OF US!"
JediJones ROCKS! First time I have seen that pic.
This was a confusing interview. At first she said that Mittens was an excellent candidate, and then says that she’s not convinced that he is a conservative. So.....?
I wonder what it is about his policies that gave her the hint?
Good find.
Good pic -- now I understand why Greenspan married her. She has that same deep-hinged, undershot jaw Paula Jones did, that Bill Clinton admired so much.
'Nuff said.
Old bag.
If the votes are split such that Ron Paul has enough delegates to get Mitt Romney over the threshold, then that’s how Mitt will win a brokered convention. For all the hype about economic policy, what most motivates Ron Paul supporters are his liberal social views. Here’s an example of who they go to as a second choice in a poll, which while a little internet poll I think it’s typical...Obama, Romney, Newt and Rick.

Plus Obama is a weakling on foreign policy I don't think he will attack Iran and that's what I want. I want Iran to get a nuke...anything to **** off the Israel firsters.
I had no idea the Paultards were that librul .... though I thought they might be on some issues. These guys have to be Democrats!
This one comment in the remarks section was instructive, replying to the question, "who would you vote for if you could not vote for Ron Paul?":
Obama. LMAO...not really...I would hope for an Obama re election not because I like him simply bc why get someone else in there to screw it up? Obama only has 4 more years we get one of the other idiots in there it might be 8! Plus Obama is a weakling on foreign policy I don't think he will attack Iran and that's what I want. I want Iran to get a nuke...anything to **** off the Israel firsters.
The zinger about Israel is something you just don't see in conservative or GOP watering holes. This guy's a DimRat.
That’s easy, she meant he was an excellent candidate, but out of politeness she omitted the end of the sentence...for the Democrat party.
The key word here may be "speaker". But what he speaks flies in the face of what he has done. So, he made the best speech, but- big deal!
Here is the deal with Romney... I have not heard him even try to pander to conservatives.... I have heard him say he would keep much of Obama care. Which in medical terms means he is a flipping idiot...
This is a long Paul thread asking who they’d vote for if he doesn’t win the primary. I got through the first 2 pages...aside from most who say they won’t vote at all, the second choice winner seemed to be Libertarian Gary Johnson, followed by Obama, with one picking Romney.

Support Newt and Santorum and even Ron Paul leading to a brokered convention that selects Sarah as the "compromise" candidate with your selection:
Romney
Gigrich
Santorum
as VP.
'Tis a possible strategy. And it could work. She is as vetted as you can get.
She is our strongest conservative and hasn't thrown any dirt - so she's not Romney. She didn't divorce anyone let alone Todd - so she's not Gingrich and she hasn't done whatever they are going to lay on Santorum in the next few weeks - so she's not Santorum. And she's not Ron Paul. Nobody but Ron Paul is Ron Paul.
I'm starting to warm up to the idea.
