No one can say they don’t know what Newt Gingrich will do after his inauguration. He’s got big plans…
He pledged to have a full list of his proposed executive orders and presidential findings published online by October, so that every voter will know exactly what they’re getting. He wants every Republican candidate to campaign with him on a pledge to hit the next Congress in a monster jam session that repeals the job-killing centralized corruption of ObamaCare, Dodd-Frank, and Sarbanes-Oxley by the time he’s sworn in…
… and that’s just an appetizer.
Within two hours of plopping his Dilbert calendar and family photographs on the Resolute Desk, he’ll have signed an executive order to cashier every one of the Obama czars. Then he’ll sign one to approve the oil pipeline from Canada to Houston. By lunch, he’ll have moved the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. Next up would be re-instituting Ronald Reagan’s Mexico City policy, to forbid spending money to subsidize abortion overseas…

According to Gingrich, we face now an hour similar to 1980, 1984, and 1994, when a bold conservatism presented with vigor can rally independent and moderate voters, who might otherwise be cowed by the Left’s moralistic commands to continue America’s downward spiral.
Where Rick Santorum offered a focused table of contents for his proposed Administration, and Mitt Romney spent half of his speech talking about his biography, Gingrich is already working on the footnotes and appendix.
But is his exhaustive list of proposals really too much for one Administration? Barack Obama hasn’t been shy about swinging executive power like a wrecking ball. Why can’t it be used constructively?
For Newt Gingrich, the historic election ahead will be a choice between those who cleave to the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Federalist Papers, versus Barack Obama and the Saul Alinsky radicals. He calls for hitting the “reset button” and rebuilding America, instead of managing its decay. None of the Establishments talk like that.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say something I rarely do regarding a politician: I believe Newt. He may fail to achieve all his stated objectives, but I do believe he will try his best to achieve them, and they're necessary, worthwhile goals.
I suspect he's tried to straddle the gulf, keeping one foot in the "the establishment" and another outside it -- in the past. But now that "they" are trying to amputate both his legs, I think he's jumped over to our side ... hopefully, for good (intended as a double-meaning).
I just wish, and hope, that more of "us" realize it.

This is what it is going to take to right this ship from its trip into socialist hell. There is no comparison between what this brilliant man offers and the other candidates.
Newt is substance. The others are talking points.
We all need to help. Spread the word. Help financially. Whatever you can do to help him spread his message to every American. The establishment surely isn't going to help, so we MUST.

Who gives a rip about Newt's so-called negatives. I'll venture to say that he has no more than most American presidents. What he does have is intelligence, ideas and experience in changing the government. So enough of the tired old too many negatives B.S.. It's far beyond stale. Grow up and vote NEWT! * Bold is a fundamental quality of America. There is a long list of people that were quite bold & proposed brave ideas that lead to the birth of this nation. Men willing to fight & die if needed for their ideas. Ideas such as liberty, freedom - I don't think anyone bitched about things just not being 'fair'. *

Newt is definitely the heavy weight in this contest. I notice the others are picking up some of his ideas and expressions. They just don’t have the depth that Newt does.

It’s pitiful and pathetic for them to do that, but they do not have the bold and radical ideas on their own and Newt Gingrich can’t nail them for it without looking like a whiner.
His ideas and solutions are all written out and posted at Newt.org but the vast majority of folks won’t take the time to go there to read it for themselves.

I remember Newt’s success in the early ‘90s, and I also remember the likes of NPR mocking him at every turn.
Newt is a genius, he’s not infallible, but Newt is not only wise, he’s experienced, mature, and at ease. There’s no doubt in my mind that Mr McGringrich is the man the for the job. Now if only he could convince Sarah to accompany him to the White House.
You know, everytime sarah is on fox, I listen hard, because they always ask her about an endorsement. And besides Todd, and endorsing Newt for SC and FL, she won’t go any further. But I have also heard her, even today at CPac and variously, describe the candidate the country needs, mature, battle-tested, experienced, aggressive, unafraid... with a history of getting things done despite great obstacles... bits and bits I have kept tabs on... so that is pretty positive...
And she also said, most importantly, I think: she has to be very careful who she endorses, or when, because she is controversial and doesn’t want to cause them more harm and good... and then she goes into her rap... this is good, people are getting sorted out... So I’m thinking newt, plus the fact she once called Santorum a neanderthal, or said she would let his wife call him one after he was catty to her (Sarah)...who knows, really. what a dream though.

Kind of a one size fits all requirement.
I don't need retraining. I've got a masters' plus about 30 more grad hours, in electrical/electonic engineering. I've got over 30 years experience in the defense industry, much of it at the "cutting edge", in the sense that much of my work was done in either the pre-proposal, or development stages of programs, or in internal R&D.
What I need it a job, making systems to whack the bad guys, or protect the good guys, or train them. I'm long term unemployed. Long being 14 months. I apply for at least a half dozen jobs a week, often more. I'm not stuck with one location either, anywhere in Texas, or even Oklahoma, will do. I've even applied for 2 jobs (which were really the same one with two different companies) in Nebraska and one in Kansas. Have had two on site interviews (which were the about the best matches of the jobs I've applied for) which were no more than 10 miles apart in the DFW "mid cities" area, and a half dozen or so phone screening interviews. But offers? None, nada, zip.
I got Clinton-sized and was out of work for 5 months, and really only looked seriously for about 3 months of that (had a good severance package). Now I'm been Obamified, and I've been out for 14 months, with not as much severance, since I had not been at the 2nd employer but half as long and they gave us 60 days notice, while the previous one chose to pay us for an extra 60 days above and beyond the severance ammount. Obama has been much worse than "I loathe the military" Billy Jeff.

I have tremendous respect for Mr and Mrs Giffords. I understand Mr Giffords expressed some unfortunate political remarks, but that’s incidental noise. Her recovery is inspiring. She’s a sweetheart. (Screw ya’ all who wanna’ give me crap about my opinion on this matter. Seriously, FO.)

Here are some reasons why he should be elected and some answers to issues that stand in his way, in no particular order:
“He is an idea man”-- This is a common plus that is discussed on most news shows and many articles but most people don’t understand what this really means, Newt is a remarkably intelligent man who constantly puts forth plans to solve problems rather than sit on purely ideological principles. While maintaining conservative principles is important, Newt is not afraid to recognize that a purely ideological position sometimes is not best for policy or practical reasons. The downside to putting ideas out in speeches and texts is that sometimes those ideas are not always good ones—but that’s why we have government by consensus and Congress, and not a dictatorship. Obama fails to recognize that. He saved the country once before” – In 1996, Newt was accused of shutting down the government simply to hold to an ideological principle; but actually the reverse was true. Back then, Bill Clinton had failed to deliver on his first years in office and the country was still wallowing in a mild recession. Clinton sent another bloated and overwrought budget to the House and Newt stood up to him, recognizing that Clinton’s original budget would sink the country further. As a result, Clinton was forced to submit budget after budget to Congress until he could strike a deal that would preserve a smaller government. Newt stuck to his guns and for a period government services were shut down. But what was the alternative? More government and more recession? Instead, the government was kept at bay in growth and the economy began to quickly recover. The economy expanded and America quickly became a nation of profits and success—not because of Clinton but because of Newt holding ground on government spending. The party lost some seats in the next election, as well as Newt, and some say it led to Clinton’s reelection, but Newt made sure the country came first. For this reason alone—that country comes before politics—you could argue that Newt should be President today. Keep in mind, he worked with Democrats to reform welfare in 1996 and cut capital gains while still presenting a balanced budget for the President to sign in 1998.
“He is experienced but not an insider” – Right now the Presidency needs a managed and careful hand to restore the nation to power. Obama has had little experience before taking office and it shows. His choice of people to counsel and run the government has been poor at best, and his foreign policy has been described as amateurish. Newt has a long history of government experience to bring the government back together from being divided along ideological lines. He will restore some stability to international relations, patch up damaged alliances and settle our scores with enemies quickly and efficiently. Newt also is not a true insider, he worked to pass legislative reform in 1995 that put Congressional entitlements on the same parity as private business, making Congress accountable to the same laws private industry are accountable to. As a result, many party old timers were frustrated with Newt’s leadership and contributed to many ethics complaints against him, and was constantly attacked by the media. You know you are doing something right, when everyone is after you on both sides of the aisle.
“He will destroy Obama in debates” – We have already seen how well Newt has done against other candidates, and proven that the American electorate are not ‘sheeple’. His popularity has risen directly with his solid platform, ideas and presentation. Put him in front of America and he will do well to show how Obama has damaged our international prestige and foundered the national economy. Even better, his solid grasp of the issues will put the novice Obama to shame and ensure not only that Republicans will win the White House but flip the senate to red providing a truly consolidated government. Newt will show America that elections don’t always go to the guy with the best ads or the most polished marketing, but the best man for the job.
“He is not afraid of the media”—this is probably one of the most important facts on why we should vote for Newt. When faced with gotcha questions and setup arguments he goes after the questioner rather than try to provide a politically correct answer. Even better, when faced with PC questions and political issues, he gives an intelligent and concise answer as to why the questioner is wrong or the argument is flawed. Always brilliant and well-spoken, he is the perfect man to counter the media monster. Bette still, with his long history in government and government service he is fully vetted and there are few skeletons in his closet that the media can hang him on."

Aren’t there a lot of grants out there to go to school, and maybe finish your post grad work, and some of them come with living stipends...

he makes a lot of counterpoints to alot of the arguments raged against newt often:
* He might have big ideas, but the congress will keep him inline...
* He’s an insider with all that attendant knowledge, but also was a reformer, and promises to be one again...
* he shut the govt down... which rush and levin, who support RS were pleading for boehner to do... And stood up for the country, lost seats, but put country first...
* the debates don’t even require comment
* THE MEDIA - Conservatives have been praying for someone who isn’t afraid of the media, yet they vote for fawning romney and pandering rick... this is a really good package in this article..

I don’t think her remarks were over the top, and certainly not anything that would have caused a violent reaction... I sort of remember there being a rowdy t-party event... they actually named an carrier after her yesterday or today... and she just giggled... it was really touching...
