Exactly why is the FBI compiling files on citizens? If this was not part of a criminal investigation - it should not exist.

Most very successful business men and women aren’t really nice people.
That’s the way it is. Nothing new.
(I think Scrooge got a raw deal in A Christmas Carol - seriously, why does he have to support the poor and destitute if he doesn’t want to. And if Bob Cratchit doesn’t think he’s getting enough money, he’s free to go work else where - he’s not an indentured servant)

If the powers of the FBI are required to ascertain that a 60's-70's hippie in California smoked dope and dropped acid, and they tell us like it's a big discovery, then folks, that is just plain PATHETIC. Especially since the subject himself made no bones about saying so, publicly. WTF???

Looks to me like the word is out -- time to destroy Apple.
Ballmer has been waiting for Jobs to die for many years. Finally he gets a chance to get even.
Does anyone really believe that the articles about Foxconn are a coincidence? This current slam-fest is just the warm-up.
Before long, we'll learn that Jobs wasn't really a pescetarian (vegetarian plus dairy and fish), but rather dined on human babies. And that manufacturing Apple products requires the sacrifice of unicorns and koala bears.
Windows 8 is coming out soon. Get ready....

He was a salesman? Did his products work or is that beyond the scope of their investigation?

The only real story here is why is the FBI releasing this information?
