They did not want the Federal Government to dominate the life of every citizen from cradle to grave. They wanted people to be free – to earn their own keep and keep what they earn. What a concept.

After recovering from my shock that this fool actually got something right, I just wanted to say that of course the Founders wanted to put constraints on any change to their vision of Limited Government.
In retrospect it is obvious that the barriers were set too low as evidenced by the assaults on freedom that Obama has so far successfully orchestrated.
