The only thing Santorum accomplishes, is to split the conservative vote, keeping Gingrich from being able to beat Romney, and with Romney as the nominee, ensuring a second term for Obama.
Some conservative Santorum is — more like an Obama pawn! :(
Santorum is leading Newt in those states. Maybe Newt should drop out and support Santorum, for the good of the party.
Santorum wants to be VP for a pro abortion candidate he being of such sound principles and all
I doubt he gets it...he is sure no clinch to carry PA now is he after 2006 where he lost by nearly 18 points...in other words whupped
Not accurate, as Santorum's vote would split between Gingrich and Romney if he dropped out as polling data has shown, however, the overwhelming majority of Gingrich's vote would go to Santorum if Gingrich dropped out. So far Gingrich's and Santorum's votes combined have not been as much as Romney's in the states where Romney has won, so your statement is not true even if 100% of Santorum's voters went to Gingrich.
And given the fact that Santorum is the closest to Romney in these polls discussed in this article that you are commenting on...your statement is even more inaccurate.
The only thing Gingrich accomplishes, is to split the conservative vote, keeping Santorum from being able to beat Romney, and with Romney as the nominee, ensuring a second term for Obama.
There. Fixed it.
