To ask what Jesus would do (and then woodenly carry it out) certainly seems to miss the fact that Jesus was special with a special mission. Yet, to call God an idol is a paradox at best, great blasphemy at worst.

The Knights of Columbus are like the Klan?
Really?

No one is calling God an idol. The reference is to the “self”. When you put yourself in God’s great seat of judgment, and start imagining “What Would God Do”, that is idolotry.

She probably thinks it would rightly be something like the Untied (sic) Methodist Church. No aspersion meant to the few Methodist churches that have still retained their scriptural and godly fire — I’ve seen them in Mississippi, for example.

Nancy will no doubt be summoned to the Vatican to confer with Pope Benedict XVI since she is such an accomplished theologian on all things Catholic.

I believe such a grave charge requires some supporting documentation. Answering the question out of the bible is not an example of any kind of idolatry, even if the answer is of limited direct use. (Jesus never married, as an obvious example.)

At what point will she be excommunicated! The Church needs to make a stand, and now!I guess y'all missed the memo. This whole nation, from top to bottom - inside & outside is CORRUPT. Until that changes there will be no recovery & I sure don't see it ever better in my lifetime or that of my children.

No Nancy it was foolhardy and one day Gods mercy towards you is going to cease and then you will pay for your blasphemies and iniquites.Think of 50 million aborted babies "greeting" her when she dies...

Answering any question out of the Bible is not a problem unless you are engaged in divination ~ and then, from time to time, they get really tough on the practitioners and burn them of course.
It's where you imagine yourself to be God. This is a common problem!

She should be excommunicated. I don’t think the church would do it. If they had the strength to do so, it would be a powerful message to the cafeteria types.

No, of course the Knights of Columbus, a Mason-esque style orthodox Roman Catholic men’s club, isn’t anything like the Ku Klux Klan. Perhaps the titling conventions are unhelpful, but nothing is supposedly taking place that isn’t under the main church’s authority.

Her false god is obviously Obama ,her messiah.
The Church should make a public announcement of her impeachment and ask—no demand— that she never darken it’s doors again.

Documentation of your “common problem” is essential to it not being a strawman.

I agree. Its past time for the church to start doing its job...THE WILL OF THE LORD. Anyone who defies God should be ex-communicated immediately. The church should wake-up. The Lord is watching and some bishops are going to pay a heavy price.

Joe Stalin, Hitler, Obama, Rev. Wright, Pelosi, .......... There are plenty of people around who have imagined themselves to be God and then sought to impose their own "godlike" vision on others.
I don't think something of this nature requires much more documentation than to point to those who do it.
I think what you want to do is get me to say something about writing up a lesson plan for Sunday School ~ which, to do, you necessarily go to the Scriptures for guidance in the matter. You wouldn't then put words in Jesus' mouth that he didn't say.
Everybody always goes to the Scriptures. Then there are those who just make it up. There's a difference even if you can't discern it.

Okay, explain Peloski why you and Reid and obamma gave the moslems an exemption to the healthcare bill, to where there is no requirement for them to purchase this monstrosity?
Were you being courageous then? Or do you have a religious bias?
