Does ‘fatally flawed’ minority report on gunwalking ‘absolve’ administration?

“Report by House Democrats Absolves Administration in Gun Trafficking Case,” Charlie Savage of The New York Times would have us believe:

Democrats on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on Tuesday are expected to publish a report on the disputed gun trafficking investigation called Operation Fast and Furious, concluding that agents in Arizona — not Obama administration officials — were responsible for the tactics used in the inquiry and for providing misleading information relayed to Congress.

The “expected” report, that is, the report House Democrats gave their reliable mouthpiece a heads-up on, has been released, just in time to get defense plays and signals out there in anticipation of Attorney General Eric Holder’s Thursday appearance before the full Committee (where he’ll hopefully get to answer questions about why his people are pleading the Fifth and testimony from their underlings is being denied):

Today, Rep. Elijah E. Cummings, Ranking Member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, issued a 95-page minority staff report entitled “Fatally Flawed: Five Years of Gunwalking in Arizona.” The report describes the results of the Committee’s year-long investigation into the actions and circumstances that led to multiple gunwalking operations in Arizona from 2006 to 2010.

Or as Mike Vanderboegh of Sipsey Street Irregulars puts it, “Bloody Hands Cummings & White House issue a report saying that the Bushes made them do it, and besides, it was all Phoenix's fault.”

That’s because Cummings and Committee Democrats showed deliberate indifference to allegations by veteran agents of ATF management abuse back in 2009 when they controlled things. And he and they have since become the leading voices for diverting the thrust of the investigation into demands for more power for the very people who continue to abuse what they already have.

Leftists have no ethics and no shame. Their ownly standard is "Does it move my agenda forward?"

This is the path toward Venezuela, then the gulag and reeducation camps.

“Report by House Republicans Absolves Administration in Watergate Case...”

Nope, didn't work.

But then, they didn't have the libtard Obama-loving MSM Pravda Press on their side.

Never think they are stupid though.

They are doing this on purpose. They are evil. Control is their goal. They will happily kill you to get there.

What's next?

This “report” is being released to generate talking points for the LMSM. If it can be used to defang the true final report so much the better.

But why?

In a few years when someone does a Nexis search on this subject the results will be heavily slanted towards this report. Since most researchers will dig no deeper than the top few search results the hard facts of Fast and Furious will be hidden.

Proofs of statement?

Look back 30 or so years and run a search looking into the claim that the CIA developed crack to hook the black community into drug addition.

Or, how about going back 8 years and search President Bush and Air Guard and military service.

Or, how about US Marines and Haditha?

IMHO, this report is nothing more than an attempt to hide fast and furious from future generations - another case of the liberal-progressive-socalist-democrat movement rewriting history to protect themselves.

Our political establishment in DC reminds me of an outhouse that is so full of excrement that it has become utterly useless. Even cleaning it out may not be enough to restore it's viability but that would be the obvious first measure. To believe that following the laws written and passed by and of those who have sullied our government and imposed on the common citizen will somehow eventually lead to a revitalization of Constitutional governance is absurd.

Seems to me this report is being put forth because those killed are not Holder’s or 0bama’s ‘people.’

...concluding that agents in Arizona — not Obama administration officials — were responsible for the tactics used in the inquiry and for providing misleading information relayed to Congress.

All you have to do to believe this report is believe that mid-level agents in Arizona coordinated with the DHS, DOJ, State Dept., FBI, DEA, ICE and BP all on their own without any knowledge or input from higher ups in any of those agencies.

No mocking, belittling or scoffing whatever.

You apparently think our guys are going to bring some ‘Rat cretins to justice. I have lost hope and think that when crunch time comes, they’ll fold like a cheap umbrella, just as they have time after time in the past dozen years, even when they held the MAJORITY.

So let’s hide and watch, and see who’s right. I truly hope YOU ARE. But I live in Realville, so I’m not holding my breath.

In order to retain that all important super-status as a GOP-trashing cool dude, you have to actively avoid examples like yesterday's hearings where Issa and the other House Republicans tore the White House a new butt orifice on both the "Gunwalker" and recess appointment travesties.

Since the Left owns and operates the media, it becomes difficult to rally public opinion against the crimes of the White House which directly affects Justice to act. And since any legal action will not be coming from the Obama administration and Eric Holder will not be arresting himself, its necessary for people who care, to pay a little bit of attention, something that's obviously beyond the abilities of the "They're ALL dickless COWARDS!!!" crowd.

Not sure what you’re expecting unelected private citizens such as I to do. My solemn oath to preserve, defend and protect the COTUS expired when I received my Honorable Discharge. Issa for instance, and all the rest of them are UNDER OATH THIS VERY MOMENT. It is up to THEM to have the cretins arrested, because, as you said, “Eric Holder will not be arresting himself.”

Rather than criticize me; if you’re so sure of what to do, strap on your sidearm and head for DC. I think I’d bet on YOU before I would Issa or any of his buddies. They’ve been playing patticake with Holder for over a year now, and what REAL progress have they made?

Issa doesn’t have the authority to arrest anyone anymore than you do. The Congress can only hold him in contempt. He’ll say he’s a government official doing his job. Exactly what crime would have Issa arrest him for? Are you completely braindead? If Holder goes, he has to either resign or Obama has to fire him. Geez, didn’t you learn anything in school?
