What an action-packed three years it has been since the last presidential election! With the advent of the Tea Party movement in 2009, the ever-encroaching realm of big government collided with the constitutional principles espoused by patriotic Americans in an unprecedented fashion, and We The People found our voice. We assembled from coast-to-coast in peaceful, heartfelt protests against the major themes of the Obama administration, namely, government intrusion in many private areas of our lives, wasteful, unrestrained spending, and anti-capitalism.
In just under one year from now, voters will cast their ballots in what is believed to be the most pivotal election of our lifetime—if not the nation’s history: the 2012 presidential election. Conservatives, hear this: We cannot go to the polls, hold our nose, and vote for a RINO. That’s NOT what We The People have rallied and fought for these past three years! We cannot repeat the, “Oh, well” mindset we took with us to the polls in 2008 as we voted defensively against Barack Obama (many conservatives did not proactively vote for Senator John McCain). This time around, there is zero room for error, and we have to be sure to vet the best constitutional conservative among the contenders and elect that individual. We must ask ourselves, “Who is the candidate whose ideals, principles, and integrity mirror our constitutional conservatism? Who will regain for We The People the respect, honor, and leading economic position once associated with this great nation?” That’s the person to choose.

The only thing I disagree with in your article is I don’t think Cocktail Party Candidate Mitt Romney is a “safe” choice.
People are tired of the Cocktail Party candidates and won’t vote for Mitt.
The conservative base will stay home.

Sir: The gist of the above message is that we, the people cannot sit on our hands and not vote this year. Many Conservatives did that in 2008, and I was not one of them. I voted for John McCain, even though I could not stand him and his love fest with Obama. Yes, McCain was a whimp, weak, with no backbone!!! Problem was, is that I knew exactly who and what Barack Hussein Obama was, and how he would tirelessly work to destroy this nation, along with its Freedom, Liberty, Equality, Opportunity, etc. So.....I went off to the polls, held my nose, and...voted for John McCain.
We cannot lose to Obama again!!! He must be defeated and his “Destroy America” Democrat Party must be destroyed politically!!! Therefore, whoever is “our” nominee he or she must win!!! And.....so how do we make come about?
One, vote for Newt Gingrich, tomorrow in the Florida Republican Primary election and keep Newt alive, so this fight goes on!!! Two, get every registered Republican to come out tomorrow and vote in that primary race!!! A Gingrich win or close second combined with a massive voter turnout will inspire the rest of the nation to rally, believe in victory, and....then turnout in record large numbers when their primary contests come up!!! End result will be the strongest candidate we can offer up that will destroy anti-American POTUS Barack Hussein Obama in November!!!
In addition, the massive record turnout sends a clear message to the Obamabots, we are coming at them with every person andpolitical tool we have to cause their political defeat and destruction.
Now.....sir......I am just your regular American Conservative of the “Goldwater Stripe” so my words will most likely fall on deaf ears of potential Florida Primary voters. But..... a salvo from you, personally dished out to Freepers on this very site and others, with the same message can do wonders for our common cause!!! Thanks!!!
If our political masters succeed in destroying Newt who is running on the constitution or conservative party? That will be who I vote for.
However, as I have said before, I think he is the most conservative (viable) candidate in the race by quite a margin, and is therefore the closest thing we are going to get to a candidate who IS a true constitutional conservative. In fact, I would posit that he is the most conservative serious presidential candidate in this country since Ronald Reagan ran for re-election in 1984.
For this reason I plan on voting for Mr. Gingrich in the 2012 presidential election, whether he has received the republicrat party's nomination or not. It appears that I will not be allowed to vote for him in my Commonwealth's republicrat primary, or I would vote for him then also.
