~~big snip to bottom line~~
To escape the twin taints of Bain and his one-percenters under15 percent tax rate, some Republican elders are urging Romney to stake his campaign on something larger and far more important than his own business expertise (The Wall Street Journal editorial page) or, as Fred Barnes suggested more baldly, to find a bigger idea to deflect attention from Bain. But even Mitts own spokesman, Eric Fehrnstrom, once described him (to the Des Moines Register) as not a very notional leader. Romney is incapable of an arresting turn of phrase, let alone a fresh idea. Running on empty, he resorts to filling out his canned campaign orations with lengthy recitations of the lyrics from patriotic anthems. (Believe in America is his campaign slogan.) Take away the bogus boasts about job creation at Bain and the disowned Romneycare, and what else is there to Mitt Romney? Mainly, his unspecified service to his church and his perfect marriage. That reduces him to the stature of the Republican presidential candidate he most resembles, Thomas Deweyin both his smug and wooden campaign style and in the overrating of his prospects by the political culture. Even the famously dismissive description of Dewey popularized by the Washington socialite Alice Roosevelt Longworthas the little man on the wedding cakeseems to fit Mitt.
No Republican has ever won the nomination after losing the South Carolina primary. No incumbent president since FDR has won reelection with an unemployment rate higher than 7.2 percent on Election Day, and ours currently stands at 8.5 percent. No candidate with a 58 percent disapproval ratingespecially Newtis likely to win a national election, even for dogcatcher. But surely someone has to be nominated by the Republicans, and someone has to win in November.

Just wait until the union PACs start really pouring money into an ad campaign against Romney. The Romney ship will really take on water, even though it will start listing to the left once Willard secures the nomination.
Mitt is a sure loser as a candidate.
Only twice in the past half century have our political masters been thwarted, 80 to 88 by Reagan and 95 to 99 by Gingrich. The masters don’t like being thwarted as evidenced by the attacks both men endured and are enduring from both the media and the political establishment of both parties. This opposition will stop at nothing to destroy Newt and those who lie, cheat and steal the best will be the biggest heroes to those who wish to enslave “we the people”.
“I can teach it either way.” describes Romney to a “T”.
Read the transcript of his speech to the student body at the Citadel. In that speech he comes across as the most perfect conservative candidate possible. Now I don’t know if he has ever spoken to the NAACP but if he has, that transcript will read very different from that at the Citadel.
At the risk of alienating many here:
In the Bible (look it up yourself) is a question that can be asked of those you suspect of being satan’s servants. Ask this question of any in the LDS hierarchy, Deacon or above, and be surprised at what happens.
I don't care where the chips fall, I will never vote for Romney!
scripture reference please???
