Just helped my daughter move out of the state last weekend. She’ll be saving $500 month in taxes alone.

If they get a supermajority in the California Senate, the state will enter bankruptcy in the next 2-3 years.

If Obama get re-elected, the rest of the country will bail them out and absorb their debt.

I don’t want to live in the same country with these people anymore. Wonder what the map of North America will look like at the end of the 21st century.

Why not let the liberals have their way with California and let them finish off the state.

So what if they take 2/3 majority? The people who elect the liberals will deserve what they get. Let them self-destroy. Perhaps then, when they’re left hopeless and bankrupt and with companies leaving in droves, and people moving out, the people left will realize how dumb liberal government is.

I sometimes wonder if having Obama win a second term wouldn’t be “good” for the country, since, it would, in the end, be a shock to all Americans, and they’d end up hopeless and learning some very huge lessons which many have refused to learn. Only when the whole country gets that feeling of hopelessness, will the country start towards sanity and the elimination of programs and people who have ruined the country.

I hate to say it but it’s time to go. I’d love to stay and fight but there’s no way to fight when they control everything.

And in the 2010 census illegals were of course counted and are making a significant impact in the new California apportionment maps.

"Supreme Court validation of maps could give Democrats two-thirds Senate majority"

And THEN, 'you reaps what you sow!' Only more of it with less resistance.

Kalifornia heading to its REAL bottom, sooner than later.

Kalifornia is lost, anyway.

Between the illegals and the parasites and sex deviates, the decent folks are leaving, businesses are leaving, and the cities are havens for tribes of various persuasions.

We need "The Big One" to make it detached from the U.S.A.

No loss at all.....

And now they'll finally have the power they lusted for across the 40 years they've controlled the legislature ... the power to tax without opposition.

CA's debt to GDP ratio is fine. Unfortunate for the rest of the country, CA's economic output is a vital, substantial contributor to national economic health.

CA has millions of subjugated non-Democrats suffering under the tyranny of the Bay Area and L.A.

One can imagine, with unchecked power, CA will become the worst of all Democrat strong holds on taxation, on regulation, on nannystate-ism, on oppression of individual liberty. It will be second to none.

They don’t call the once great state of California the “ People’s Republic of Kalifornia” for nothing now.
This nation is so damaged..I wonder it is time to think about moving to another country..mayby New Zealand or Iceland or someplace with more sanity.

Game. Set. Match!!

The once conservative court has bellied up to the trough.

‘Justice’ is now all about equality and economic and social justice.. and the rest of you, be damned.

You don’t like being condemned to living in a social experiment or living in a Udopia under construction, move.

California Republican Party Chairman Tom Del Beccaro told The Bee this week that retention of the new lines would make it "enormously difficult" to keep Democrats from a Senate supermajority.

Well, maybe the sooner the Democrats kill California, the sooner someone will be able to fix it.

The posters on this thread do not seem to realize that CA has a bicameral legislature and it takes a 2/3 vote of both houses to pass a tax increase. I have not heard anything about the other chamber, the assembly, so I assume that the RATS won't get a 2/3 margin there.

As for the CA Senate, who knows what will happen? As Cal Coolidge said, "If you see 10 troubles coming down the road, nine of them will fall by the side before they get to you."

For those of you who want to bail out, be my guest. I am staying here and fighting by contributing to Republican candidates. This place is too crowded anyway.
