Fred Thompson was of course in the Senate while Newt was in the house. Yes, in congress together, but not really a colleague.

Just nickels and dimes, holes drilled through the middle, cleverly stacked on a wire!

If anyone has trouble swallowing the fact that top radio personalities are in the tank for Romney, just take a moment to notice how they don’t discuss the Romney negatives.
Starting with the Romney-Alinksy ties.

It all goes back to THIS...
Next for GOP leaders: Stopping Sarah Palin
First it was Palin, and then Cain. Now, it's Newt's turn.
Disclosure: I'm by no means a Newt fan, but I despise the GOP-E and how it's been operating since November 2008.

Gingrich should just put on some (historically inaccurate but popularized by Mel Gibson) of the Scot highland blue facepaint at this point.
I think that makes Romney the cowardly two timing Robert the Bruce.

I HATE the republican party... I hate what it was before Reagan and what it has become once again.

Those are not mutually exclusive outcomes. Both can happen. Maybe today is the day the GOP committed the political equivalent of a murder-suicide.
It looks mostly like they are murdering the republican party.

It's high time we separated out all these RINOs and Dim-lites.
Looks like Noot has been the catalyst

George HW Bush = Bob Dole = John McCain = Mitt Romney. W is close, but I'll give him props for his handling of 9-11.
Newt has more Reagan conservatism in his little finger than those four combined.

I'm almost to the point of hoping Gingrich says “screw you all” to the party establishment and announces he's running 3rd party. Then let's see how well “golden boy” Mitt does in the fall. They want to treat conservatives and tea-partiers like crap, then lets see how well they do without us.

At the end, when he endorses Romney he invalidates everything he has written above.

Yeah, the GOP-E coordination this week has been grotesquely apparent, beginning with Mitch Daniels warming up in the bull pen, and now this wholesale onslaught against Gingrich.

Bob Dole's Republican credentials are immaculate.
You really, really, really are using "RINO" erroneously.
