The Wylie Police Department has placed Officer Jim Bunger and two civilian employees on paid administrative leave after allegations surfaced Monday that the three engaged in lewd behavior.
According to a press release from the police department, police administration "immediately upon receiving the information, Wylie Police officials contacted the Texas Rangers and the Garland Police Department where the officer resides. "
WPD is conducting an administrative investigation. "Any criminal investigation will be handled by the Garland Police Department," the press release said.
The Wylie News received an email from someone called Black Hands Tuesday, Jan. 24, alleging Bunger had engaged in criminal pornographic activity and that the policeman and the other two city employees – a man and a woman – had engaged in lewd behavior. Photographs of the activites were included.
Can't make this stuff up.

Typical Wylie hillbilly story. If the teens aren't beating an adult to death because the adult yells "slow that car down!", then the local Barney Fifes are passing around kiddie porn and arresting out of towners for passing through trying to get to Lake Lavon. Hate to say it, but this doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Officer Bunger was dating a girl at Wylie High School when I attended school there. She had just turned 18, so what he was doing was legal... but it just struck me as odd that an older officer of the law would go to prom with a high school kid, and go on her senior trip with her to Cancun. It seemed unprofessional at best. Creepy, and likely the tip of the iceberg of strange behavior at worst.good grief - 1/25/2012
I wish people wouldn't post info just to post. Truthteller: You need to get your facts straight. I have known Jim for years. I also know his wife, the mother of his children. And she isn't/wasn't 16 when she got pregnant or when they got married. She was in her mid 20s. Stop trying to make the situation worse with your ignorance. I think the hacker sounds like an extortionist. I to have know Jim for a very long time. I trusted him with my children and would trust him with my grandchildre. This sounds like someone that wants to stir up anything they can. The fact that they asked for money to be donated sounds fishy.truthteller - 1/25/2012
There are some of us who have known him for years and we know the truth because he never could keep his mouth shut. He couldn't keep his hands off the 16 yr old neighbor he got pregnant while he was married and instead of him being locked up for that the Wylie PD gave him a pass, covered it up, he got a divorce and married her. So whatever ppl. This behavior has been going on for years but he was given so many chances to straighten up and he never did. The gun and badge went to his head. That is what really happened.
These pervs are better suited for TSA.
They can grab the croches of women, men and children who are under duress all day long. They can force anyone, including elderly women to pull their pants down for a porn show under the color of law. They can secretly snap pictures of naked bodies and gaze at them all day long.
