Out of nowhere, the Miami Herald has dusted off and expanded upon one of Washington’s oldest and juiciest political rumors: The one about a rising young beltway journalist and his gay affair with a powerful GOP congressman, and how the journalist shot himself in the head when his lover’s political rival threatened to out them. According to the Herald, that rival may have been Newt Gingrich.

It’s a sad story, all around.
No, Hume hates Gingrich but he won’t tell the Fox viewers why. He really should have to give a disclaimer each time he comments on Gingrich.
Inquiring minds are told that Hume hates Gingrich and Dick Armey because Hume thinks the two outed Hume’s son before the son committed suicide years ago. Broadcasters’ scuttlebutt is that Armey/Gingrich did not out Hume’s son but Hume is convinced they did and that his son wouldn’t have committed suicide otherwise. Thus, Hume is bitter as hell against Gingrich but it’s nothing new lately.
Brit revealed him self (again) on Saturday night with the "Washington is concerned Newt can't be elected meme", and agreed with it.

Was watching. A real shame Brit has a man love affair with Mitter. It was so obvious he loathed Gingrich. He sounded like Romney under pressure. Stammering and stuttering.

It seems about the time Saudi money bought into Fox News-—they started censoring their “news” and “opinions”. I remember when Muslim youths-—became just “Disenchanted Youths” burning Parisian cars. That is when I quit watching Fox “news”.

There were rumors of a homosexual affair between Hume’s son and republican congressman Bill Paxon of NY. Rumors that Gingrich forced Paxon to not seek another term and Hume’s son later committed suicide.
Fair or not, Hume seems to blame Gingrich for what happened to his son.
