I know, I know. I don't think anyone who supports an actual candidate in the Republican race deserves to be banned for that. And I really hate the "Right on, Boss!" suck ups. They remind me of that little dog with the big dog cartoon. This one:

I don't hate Mitt Romney, or care to demonize him; he's just not the candidate for me--he has no fire in his belly. I am certainly not going to call for the banishment of his political followers here. Just totally immature, really.

So have fun. Maybe you could meet up with snugs and have some Sunday dinner together!

Exactly, when DNC Dave asked Newt if comments like zero being a Saul Alinski mole would backfire on him he got a fast ball fired back at him that was too fast for Dave to hit. Newt is the only one who has the guts to go up against the regime and he does it with class and brilliance.

I have wavered on Newton, but found a new respect for him this past week, notwithstanding his past difficulties. Who am I to judge his religeous conversion??

Only know what’s been posted of FR. I too knew nothing not even that he had lost a son. It’s a very difficult time in ones life. If in deed it is coloring his coverage he should excuse himself

The MSM has been doing a mini-Delphi for years. That aspect isn’t going to change within this election cycle. This is also why most of us don’t believe them or follow them other than critiquing them weekly. I would bet money there is not one Freeper that watches these networks news on a regular basis.

Thank God for talk radio and the Internet so we can get more unbiased news coverage. I remember the first time I heard Rush on-air and how I was almost dancing around in in the yard with surprise that ‘someone’ other than me was this conservative. I was mowing our yard and I can honestly say I don’t remember one thing about mowing that day. I was on automatic and just listening to the radio the whole time. I even remember a few years later going out and buying a new VCR to tape his TV programs. Attending Dan’s Bake Sale was another milestone in my memory.

Things have actually gotten better over the years as we’ve added Free Republic, other radio talk show hosts and FOX News (to a degree).

This is the same reason tea party activists have cropped up overnight. Conservatives around the country seemingly, overnight, realized “Hey, we’re not alone and others believe the same way we do!” I know in CO that we now have tea party activists getting conservatives elected to both the state and national congresses. Yeah, it will take more time but we’re on our way to recreating an America that George Washington would be proud of.

No matter what the short term future brings, I am proud I was part of the initial movement that is working to take back our country. Precinct by precinct, county by county, state by state, and nationally.

Just a thought.

It’s the “Democrat Brotherhood”, the “0bama Brotherhood”, and the “Media Brotherhood” that is causing these problems.

(By the way. I don’t use a capital O for 0zero, I use the number 0 when spelling his name. The left never catches it and it makes me feel good.)

Same can be said about Newt and Santorum is a heck of a lot more conservative—I know we can dredge up the smears on both but Newt has more damaging “optics” and that is what the Obama campaign will exploit.
Newt had SC handed to him by the liberal media and they won't be so careless again.

A little too late I’m afraid, but next time, go to www.zap2it.com

Then enter your zip code in the TV listings box.

We can hope but Candy’s NOT crying. The left is proud of those people who are making a mark against conservatives.

I’ve asked myself if Candy is now a minority herself, who can be represented by the Democrats: fat media types? Candy used to be fairly unbiased and now she a shill for the left.

You know — I am a nurse and I see a lot of older folks. Newt looks darn good for 68 — his color is good, etc and he really doesn’t look that age, at least from the middle up.

I know he’s overweight ..but sometimes, a little extra is ok on an older person.

I think he looks good for his age. He looks healthy. I’ve seen 68 year olds who look far, far worse.

I haven’t seen Hume’s take on Gingrich, so I can’t comment how he’s handling the coverage. But if it is “coloring his coverage”, then I agree with you, hoosiermama.

I find this Republican coup from ‘97 quite interesting. Guess I never paid much attention to it in the past. Brit Hume’s son is the one who broke the story about it at the time. Scarborough admits he was the source of the leak, not Paxen. I’m trying to find the participants of this coup who are still in the house/senate. Armey is gone. Scarborough (if he was involved) is gone. Delay is gone. Boehner and Graham are still there. I don’t know who all were involved in trying to make this coup happen.

Wonder what the working relationship would be like if Newt actually got elected Pres.

[They’re getting oil now out of Bakken in North Dakota and Montana.

The last I heard was that TransCanada wants to build the pipeline from there down to the Gulf, and finish the linkup to Canada later...bypassing Obama.]

Here's an interesting link. Enbridge could bypass the State department and add some links. This article discusses issues the State of Nebraska has, as well an alternate way to move the Canadian oil to the Gulf. Seems there could be more to this than just satisfying the eviro weenies.

I think it would also be interesting to know who the individuals are that stand to benefit from investment in Transcanada and Enbridge. I mean we all know that Soros is or was hooked up with Petrobas. So who is hooked up with these 2? http://www.businessweek.com/news/2011-11-16/enbridge-s-pipeline-threatens-transcanada-s-keystone-xl-plan.html

Thanks for the link! Had no idea how deeply committed Callista is to the Conservative cause.

Just got home from church and am SO enjoying reading about Newt's victory in SC. It gives me real hope--for a change--that there IS someone out there (besides our Lord) who can take on the "machinations" of the Left and STUFF IT up their...nose!

Ignore the crap. Just keep your eye on the ball.

Some might be true and others might be false. You’re already that as a supporter.

Appearances aside,Newt's mind is a razor sharp rapier in the ambidextrous hands of a ken-do master and that counts for a lot.

His past playful toying with Leftist notions has many concerned though...

...Newt is the best candidate but Santorum would be the best president is what I'm saying.

You won’t get an argument from me. I like Santorum but I acknowledge his deficiencies. It’s really nothing personal. I DO wish he could connect but that’s not happening.

Knewt would certainly know where the bodies are buried.

Rick mentioned last week that he, Rick was one of the ones that pushed the banking fraud investigation that cause many from both parties to be replaced. He confronted Newt who acknowledged he new it was going on. Newt was not involved, but didn't join the rightful accusers. (according to Rick)
Maybe he had bigger fish to fry. He was targeted by someone to remove him. All charges against Knewt were false. It was more than his managerial technique. Knewt knows something that will bring those against him down.

Hope he appoints Rick AG to go after congress critters.
