Thanks very much1 You help make the point that its impossible for one more pipeline to have the potential to do the kind of damage the far left claims.

It's all about Saul Alinksy politics,(and Newt's as well) IMHO. It's Not even money but far left theology.

and Dubya turned out to be a wimp at defending himself.

And where is he now? Clinton still shows up. Bush can still be polite and offer a lot of insight into what's been going on before the election.

I kinda doubt that Newt’s unfavorables rise to the level cited by Brit Hume yesterday.

Obviously, the divorce/bitter wife thing did not hurt him in SC, a religiously conservative state from what I understand.

The culture has changed, perhaps sadly, to the point where this sort of thing doesn’t have the impact it might once have had.

My candidate was Perry, but when he withdrew and endorsed Newt, it reinforced my liking for Newt who was my second favorite. I liked that he thanked Perry in his speech last night, and I particularly liked that he said he will be consulting with Perry.

Because Perry had all the right ideas and I hope he can influence Newt. Dismantle the EPA. Stop foreign aid altogether and put it back as deserved. Have a flat tax. Don’t even talk about what to do about illegals until the border is secure.

I don’t think the border is as big an issue to Newt as it is to Perry because Perry’s had to live with the disastrous effects of a porous border.

Does anyone know Newt’s stance on global warming now? I hope he’s realized that this whole fraud is a product of leftists and will fight it.

How many delegates did Newt gain yesterday? Romney? crazy Uncle Luther? Whiny boy?

South Carolina is a winner take all state. According to the NYT, Newt gained 23 delegates last night.

there are 55,000 miles of pipeline transporting crude, 95,000 miles carrying refined product, and 278,000 miles of natural gas transmission lines.

It's just the latest target of the Watermelons (green on the outside etc)

You can't have nuclear powerplants.
You can't have coal-fired powerplants.
You can't have hydroelectric dams.
You can't have coal mines.
You can't have oil wells.
You can't have refineries.
You can't have SUVs and pickups.
You can't have light bulbs.
You can't have freon.
You can't have pressure treated lumber.
You can't have inert mercury.
You can't have many benign products that work well.

You can't have pipelines.

This is where Santorum should take one for the team. He should drop out of the race the day after the State of the Union. It would totally hijack the media coverage off 0.

Sounds like Annie may need a little male companionship. Some young guy who knows nothing about politics.

She already does have a main squeeze and he is a political Democrat. Sean Hannity knows who it is and he is apparently unwilling to tell who it is on his shows but he never misses a chance to ask her about her boyfriend.

It will come out much sooner now that she let her mouth overload her a$$. I would really be surprised that it does not come out in the next few days.

Excellent post! Glad to see more and more are figuring it out.

The only way to deal with Marxist/socialist types is to give them something to worry about. Like getting their ass kicked.

Good list.

We can’t have all that stuff.

What we can have is energy dependence on the middle east, a hive of primitive people who hate us and want to destroy us.

People say, well, even if we start drilling now it will be ... years before we ....

If we’d started 5 years ago we’d be energy independent now.

But if we start when Gingrich is inaugerated, it will immediately frighten the Saudi’s, etal and the price will plummet.

At least, that’s my guess.

Yeah for sure, and as I said before DNC Dave won’t be sitting down for a while. He and John King will have to sip chablee and eat caviar standing up for a while.

I like Rick a lot, but he has no chance and would become an overnight hero to the Conservative movement by withdrawing and endorsing Newt.

Newt does appear to be our absolute best chance. Regardless of who gets in we will have to keep pressure on them to do the right thing. Its just how it is.

Someone, maybe Dick Morris?, made an interesting point about the debates.

He was talking about all the money, organization and resources that Mitt started out with in stark contrast to the way Newt, Santorum, and most of the others did.

None of that mattered because the debates leveled the playing field. Everyone participated without it costing them a dime. It was a huge plus for Newt as debating is his long suit.

The commentator (?) suggested that Mitt skip the rest of the debates.

Maybe he should have started out refusing to do debates but it’s way too late to go that route now.

They’re getting oil now out of Bakken in North Dakota and Montana.

The last I heard was that TransCanada wants to build the pipeline from there down to the Gulf, and finish the linkup to Canada later...bypassing Obama.

One of the better quotes today.Sounds like Annies problem is she picked the wrong species to cohabit with.

Don’t forget, Ann has never said anything positive about Palin or the Tea Party in general.

She has literally destroyed her career in this campaign with her support of Christie and Mitt and now her vitriol of Newt was the capper. She sounded like she hated everyone who voted against her guy and called them cultists. Ironic when you think about it.

Pray for America
