Not much. Not much indeed. But some voters prefer a man in office over a woman.

Rinos always seem to cling to the pathetic hope that the media will like them if they are ‘reasonable.’
The media will never like them in a general election, only in the primaries.
They just don’t learn.
But, it seems that Newt has learned. He needs to continue to stick it to them. People love that.
Newt has tapped the mother lode.

I’d take someone with Perry’s looks, experience, brains and conservatism, but since I can’t have that, I’m pretty happy to have Newt.
The media reminds me of what is explained in the song “Smiling Faces” by the Undisputed Truth. The song simply explains you cannot trust certain people with Smiling Faces like the Big Media.
Isn’t it crazy? The Democrat Controlled Media keeps saying “Love Obama” regardless of the damage he does to the country. When someone does not Love Obama they act as if there is someone wrong with the people who do not. It seems this love affair they have with Obama is backfiring in their faces.
To the media it is imperative that some Republican supporters believe that the final agenda for discussion is theirs too, then they will support it. Newt is able to articulate the agenda is being imposed upon Republican supporters as well as the rest of the country, therefore we get the resistance the media try to isolating and demean as aggressive, foolish, extremist, etc
Essentially, folks, Rod and I are looking for a Republican with the guts to call the democrats and especially the media: DNC-joined-at-the-hips-to-Liberals media, when they lie, misrepresent and spew unfounded, easily debated and struck down talking points and other BS.
The rank and file American public know it's BS, too, but if we do not LOUDLY stand up for our beliefs and challenge their BS, who wins? The American Public gets confused, and frankly discouraged when we don't fight back.
Newt, as far as I'm concerned, is the only true fighter we have left in the Presidential race. I wanted it to be Palin, I really did, but ALAS, she's not running.
Newt is far from perfect, some will see him as too fat, too ugly, to pompous, to intellectual, with loads of (mainly false) baggage, but he WILL FIGHT.
The FIGHT IS NOW. 2012. NEWT WILL BRING IT!!!!!

That’s because Boehner and McConell need to get pissy in their face and complain about it, yet they don’t. Could you image McConnel actually getting mad about something and letting it show? Can you image Boehner turning his constant crying in public emotion into some anger and righteousness about who is ruining this country?
No? Well neither can I.
And that, my FRiend Tom, is part and parcel the problem in Washington and the GOP. Thery might be great leaders of legislatures, but they have NO fire in their bellies.
We need leaders who do. The RINO Establishment doesn’t believe this is so, and that belief, if allowed to prevail, will ensure an Obama reelection.
I’d never heard the rumors before, but started looking around. Not sure why anyone is linking Newt with these rumors....from what I read the “rumors” were about Dick Armey, not Newt.
