Top Persian Gulf clergyman weighs in on Israeli, Saudi hackers' electronic sparring; endorses 'cyber Jihad against Zionist enemy'

"Cyber jihad is effective," senior Kuwaiti Iama Tareq Mohammed Al-Suwaidan announced on his twitter account Wednesday.

The prominent clergyman announced that "there is a need to unite hacker efforts, within the framework of cyber Jihad against the Zionist enemy."

He went on to explain that the recent slew of Arab cyber attacks on Israel's financial institutions as well as the El Al website were "efficient Jihad which will reap great rewards, Allah willing."

Al-Suwaidan's Twitter account is immensely popular and has over 240,000 followers. The cleric is the first top Islamist clergyman to endorse the Israeli-Saudi cyber sparring.

Abdulrahman al-Kharraz, a senior member of the Kuwaiti committee against the Gaza blockage also endorsed the cyber attacks on Israel: "The Saudi hacker's electronic jihad reminds me of Yahya Ayyash," he said, referring to the infamous Hamas bomb maker, who was killed in 1996.

"0xOmar doesn’t hack to steal, but rather to humiliate and shatter the theory of Zionist superiority," al-Kharraz explained.

At least the asswipe didn't call it a myth. ;') The only source for such theories are the various quasi-religious leaders and faceless op-ed writers, the same approach used when the Mohammed cartoons were condemned, and riots were started when some Islamofascist liar drew one equating Big Old Mo with a farm animal -- and attributed it to Europeans.
