The article reports that the advisors are stationed in Uganda and that is probably accurate. However, other articles have stated that US forces have also established bases in Central African Republic and South Sudan near the borders.

There is a photolog that goes with the story but obviously it doesn't show any Americans.

Ping. Some more details about our troops in Uganda. I can’t find anything else about the ones in Nigeria.
