Thought this was a good point I hadn't seen elsewhere.
Our President, the constitutional expert and brilliant legal scholar (No, really: just ask him), has decided to take matters into his own hands. His accomplices on the left are all a tingle while the conservative majority is outraged, but almost no one has recognized his actions for what they are.
The President knows his days are numbered and is preparing an orderly retreat while looting our constitutional heritage and setting the palaces of American Democracy ablaze.
Although he loves the perks, the President is clearly tired of the job, realizes that re-election is most unlikely, and has decided that now is the time to take advantage of the twelve short months he has remaining to do as much damage as he can to the American nation as we know it.

What ever happened to all of the cries about the Imperial Presidency?
I guess since it’s not Nixon/Bush/Republican Boogeyman in office, it’s OK.
I hope your right about the time he has left.
Be that as it may, we should-—nay we must stand to stop any further challenges to our Constitution.
If our “Representatives” don’t have the balls, we must provide them for them.
“Detached cool” LOL!
The president suffers from anomie, and he’s determined to infect everyone else.
an·o·mie or an·o·my (n-m)
n.
1. Social instability caused by erosion of standards and values.
2. Alienation and purposelessness experienced by a person or a class as a result of a lack of standards, values, or ideals: “We must now brace ourselves for disquisitions on peer pressure, adolescent anomie and rage” (Charles Krauthammer).
You signed up today, so you may not know this... the blog you're pimping belongs in the "Bloggers" section of the forum. It's a decent article so I won't give you a hard time for posting it. Just a word to the wise -- blog articles go in "Bloggers". The fact that Obama is dismantling America is not news to any of us here.
Also, unless the particular website/blog is listed as "must excerpt" (for legal reasons), it's considered rude and pimpiferous to excerpt just so that you drive FReepers over to the other site for the page hits. You know what I'm talking about.
Have a great evening.
If this was jeopardy the question would be what is a back handed compliment
And this doesn’t belong in Breaking News.
In the future, you’re gonna wanna post your blog material in our bloggers forum.
TIA,
:)
And after that.... "Blogger Overlord".... "What is a Humblegunner?"
Welcone to Free Republic. Good post. Thanks.
Solid writing though. I’m personally glad I took the time to read it. I had something of the same feeling myself, but I didn’t add all of last week’s surprises up like he did at the end.
Sigh... interesting times.
I read the article after reading your comment-- LOL. It is indeed excellent writing. It is well worth the time to read it in full.
The damage already done that we know nothing about and the damage that will be done after the November election right up to him leaving office in January will pale in comparison. We will be suffering the effects for years to come.
“We will be suffering the effects for years to come.”
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Yes and we are still suffering the effects from the last three rat administrations preceding this one. If this is Obama’s only term you will be hearing fools talking about how great he was as soon as he leaves office. Clinton was a disaster, the best thing about him was that he didn’t do as much as he might have and there are fools claiming that he is one of our greatest presidents, they will do the same and more for Obama. The stupidity of the left is limitless.
