More likely that Hussein’s “October surprise” will be an attack on iran to try and ensure that he is re-elected.
He is absolutely up to using the military and their lives in that fashion for himself...when if he was going to do it for the good of the nation it would have already ahppened long ago.
However, it would not surprise me that Obama would be more than happy to have Iran field test their first nuke on Israel while our troops were stationed there.
As silly as this sounds, it would fit perfectly into the plans of those who are determined to destroy our Representative Republic.

A war with Iran will immediately launch oil above $200/barrel, sinking the US economy, leading to more calls for the Federal Govt to do something. They’ll do something alright........seize whats left of a free economy. The tools are there to designate political opponents as “enemies of the state” subjecting them to arrest and detainment. Everyone assumes there will be an election in October; I don’t. Heil Obama!!!

Rather than being there to defend against Irn, who is to say they are not there to suppress and attack by Israel. Something like, “Hey, Israel, you’re not going to attack Iran, ever. To make you feel a little better, we’ll put some guys over there to maybe shoot down some missiles if they head your way.”
In Korea, it was rumored that our US military presence was not so much to deter the Norks, but to stop the SK from heading north and drawing us into another Chinese conflict.
