New Hampshire has long had a reputation as the most conservative state in the Northeast.

So? The front passenger tire on my car is the roundest.

It’s certainly a viable plan and appears to be working.

Where is the next Ronald Reagan when we need him? It feels like 1980 without Ronald Reagan...sigh

No, the “Tea Party” will NOT help Mitt get the nomination!

IF he receives the nomination....then they will do what is necessary to DEFEAT OBAMA!

ANYONE (_|_) OBAMA!

Divided Tea Party Might End Up Helping Mitt Romney

I'm no expert (like that has ever stopped me from opining) but... I think Iowa showed us that there is considerable enthusiasm for "tea party candidates". Yes, they are divided at the moment, but aside from some of the Paul supporters, you could put almost everyone who voted (except for the Romney folks) into the tea party category or at least argue that they have sympathy for tea party principles.

Despite trying much harder than they let on, the Romney campaign could not get traction in Iowa beyond their standard 25%. As the field narrows over the next few primaries I am inclined to think that Romney will remain about the same with the exception of New Hampshire and a few other bastions of the Rockefeller wing of the party. Once people realize that he can't get any higher, even the support he has will begin to erode as the need to defeat Obama becomes even more apparent.

This has just begun.

What “divided tea party?” Since when is there even a “party?” Gads. I don’t know why I even bother...

Hey, Sean Higgins, when you wrote: “ - - - voters here don’t seem to back a consensus candidate.” did it ever occur to you that the voters have very little interest in what the tiny dwarf elephants are squabbling over in the mudpit topic of the day? Maybe those mudpit topics are not relevant topics to those voters?

Just ask the voters what THEY want the candidates to discuss. Yeah, I know that it would be against the rules of cookie-cutter MSM polls. Right, right - - -waaaaaaaaay to many different opinions, cost to much, I know, I know, a real statistical nightmare. Research is not what the MSM agenda is budgeted to do, is something that we hear a lot. Yeah, I agree, MSM Polls are not Research.

BTW Sean, whose reality do you really want to discern, the voters, your MSM pollsters, or just the agenda of the boss who signs your paycheck? No need to answer truthfully, as your boss might be a lurker.

Well, I'm a NH resident and I have still not decided on who to vote for on Tuesday morning.

Definitely NOT Mittens.

Since Uncle Ted is not running (Ted Nugent that is), I'll have to settle for someone else.

My biggest issue is the 2nd Amendment and the protection of the Bill of Rights. The economy is 2nd on my list.

I know Mittens will win NH (sadly), but I want to cast a vote for at least the 2nd place winner and hope that Mittens will only walk away with 30% or less of the vote.

I just don't know who has the best chance to cut deeply into Mittens vote total.
