Watch it, in a few minutes there will be (the few remaining) Paulitards telling you it is all a lie or that he is right and you are just too ignorant to understand the complexity of the Constitution and how Paul thinks...

I do not know how many are left. The ZOTS have been raining hard. I guess Jim could handle a few fleas, but after a while enough is enough. The paulbots are fun though.

I think you missed the comparison. Geographically the USA is far from Iran, just as China is far from the Gulf of Mexico. At least you got to toss the words “idiot” and “imbecile” out there as if contributing to a conversation.

No. HE mentioned China trying to block the Gulf of Mexico as an analogy. However since Iran, and not the U.S, is threatening to close the Straights, his analogy does not fit.

What is your plan, Mr. Paul?

We all know his plan. First try appeasement, then try it again. Then after appeasement does not work he will just surrender.

So the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor was justified. FDR cut off their oil supply by refusing to sell them any, so as to save his fellow Jooos! from the Holocaust.

A sanction is an act of war. Was the 1973 oil embargo an act of war against the US? Sanctions that include blocking ports or interdicting shipping may be an act of war, but there are a great many options that fall considerably short of that.

Keep this man far away from that black box. This is like something from The Dead Zone.

You know, of course, if enough Republicans go down this road and Obama wins with enough support in the Congress, we will never have a hope of a Conservative government in any of our liftimes.

Obama care, if it is not overturned by SOCTUS, will change the relationship between "we the people" and "the government" forever. America will necessarily descend into a European style socialist nanny state where "the government" can literally tell you that you have to buy a Prius or any other product, or face a fine or jail time.

I don't expect that it will ever affect me much since I am already coming up on 75 years old...but if Obama wins again, my children and grandchildren are going to curse us all for letting this happen to them...

I sincerely wish that Ron Paul was not in this race, even if I was a RP supporter....but he is in it...and there is some chance that he just may win.

Sadly, I am beginning to realize that if that happens, it probably means that Obama wins again, and America as we know it is lost.

Again, me and my family are going to support whoever the R nominee is.

If we lose, so be it.... at least we didn't help Zer0 win by sitting out the election because we had some issues that we didn't like about our candidate.

When I tried to post it FR asked me to shrink the headline. Too long so that’s what I did.

I see the analogy as: USA placing sanctions on Iran = China blocking Gulf. Not Iran blocking Straights = China blocking Gulf. But . . . I can see how the analogy could be easily garbled. I can assure you Ron Paul knows his geography reasonably well enough not to confuse this.

The world is reaching a boiling point in many respects. A decent rule of thumb is to avoid provocations, but when immently threatened and attacked, fight mighty, mean, and lean. Ron Paul has no problem with that. I do not see him as underestimating the dangers of extreme Muslim aspirations, but I do see him questioning why we’re willing to pay out the wazoo to receive a black eye in return.

Please come up with a better reason to employ the words “idiot” and “imbecile.” Even then I would urge you to use them sparingly, as they contribute little, if anything, to civility. Thank you!

"Admin, your auto whatever it's called told me the orig title was too long so I shrank it to satisfy. "

Wait a second. Are you saying that your made-up title was even longer than the one I had to remove?

Please read my earlier post to you all the way through and see if you can find the title you used. That one does not match the title found above the article at the site of original publication.

Whatever the problem, don't make up titles and don't alter them. Only use the title found immediately above the linked article at the site of original publication like I did on this thread.

Just so you'll know, it's a lot easier for us to just pull threads than patiently correct mistakes and then politely ask you to follow the rules.

Sanctions hurt regular innocent people, and make dictatorships stronger against a foreign enemy. It´s always the same story. Starving women and children for 10 years in Iraq did not remove Saddam. Do you know that there are 75 million HUMAN BEINGS living in Iran??

Anyway, keep making wars and go bankrupt. Your choice.
