Put him in an isolation cell and let him recover. If it takes forever, so be it.

If you’re the defendant in a criminal trial, you don’t have to make any statements anyway. I really don’t see the point of this.

Simple — if he cannot remember then he cannot actively aid in his own defense. Therefore, he cannot get a fair trial due to incompetence.

The law is an ass.

Better yet, put him in the cell with the inmate that beat his ass...since he has amnesia, he won’t remember it anyway.

Why then, he’ll stay in jail until he gets his marbles back and becomes competent. Then he can go on trial, and be sent to jail for even more time.

This psychopath's attorneys are lying sacks of sh*t and they know they are lying as they do it. Trouble is, there is no ethics code for lawyers, so they lie with abandon and freedom and are not required ever to tell the truth, since they routinely do not take an oath in their industry. They just make other people do so.
