The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 25% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Thirty-eight percent (38%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -13 (see trends).
That’s the president’s best Approval Index rating in five months, since July 15.

We are going to need Bachmann or Santorum to beat Obama or else we just may lose. I am a little confused over the gas prices though. I purchased gas for 3.10 yesterday and thought it was Christmas....lol. The gas prices are down quite a bit. Maybe people don’t know as I am traveling and others are not. Can someone explain what the high gas prices mean? Are they going up? Or is it an overview for the entire year.
Overall for the year. 2011 saw the highest per gallon average gas price ever. News ignored by most media.

Thank you so much. I thought I was just getting lucky picking the gas stations OR that gas prices were higher in different parts of the country.

IMO, Bachmann is not ready for prime time. Her heart is in the right place, but she can be easily dismantled on the national stage. Santorum is wishy-washy. Don’t forget he backed Specter at a critical time in PA elections. He likes to be liked when the chips are down and plays politics over principle when he thinks he has to stand alone.
We have the GOP circular firing squad to thank for this.
Way too high. Still, I haven’t given up. I think people aren’t paying that much attention because of Christmas and the holidays. The President, whoever he is, almost always does better around this time of year. When the campaign really begins, I have hope that enough people will see Obama’s failures and realize he needs to be replaced*.
