Iraqi prime minister Nouri al-Maliki has urged Kurdish officials to hand over the country's Sunni vice-president on terrorist charges, in a row that has raised communal tension.
Mr Maliki, a Shiite.
...
Mr Maliki has also called for the sacking of Sunni deputy prime minister Saleh al-Mutlak, who has decried the Shiite-led national unity government as a "dictatorship".

Eh could be worse, the Sunni could be holding the prime minster. At least right now hes in the hands of an impartial 3rd party the Kurds.
Frankly it seems likely the man is guilty as charged.
Iran is determined to exterminate the Kurds and Turkey will help as they hate them for their independance and spunk.
Plus they both want to keep the stolen land.

Trying to set-up a “sovereign, stable, and self-reliant Iraq” was our first mistake. This portion of the world has no history of this and thinking that we could create the conditions for one to flourish was folly. Let’s face it their current culture, Islam, is one fraught with lying, cheating and back-stabbing. It’s like having an entire nation of people with the same ethics as those in DC.
This pos can't even venture outside of the "green zone" for fear of his life from his own people.
The idea of his inditing Sunni leader is pure posturing (trying to look good to his Iranian buddies.)
