Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul took some strong digs at his fellow candidates Friday, saying Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann “hates Muslims” and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum doesn’t like “gay people and Muslims.”
Paul made his comments on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” when the host asked him for his take on the other GOP contenders in the field.
On Bachmann, the Texas congressman said: “She doesn’t like Muslims, she hates Muslims, she wants to go get them.”

Ron Paul is a disgrace and a joke. He isn't fit to stand on the same stage as the other Republican candidates.

It is rational to hate islam and homosexuality——both practices include vile, demeaning activity antithetical to the Constitution and which leads to immorality and destruction of children and pederasty and incest.
Bachmann is a Christian and does not hate.
All Founders knew Christianity was the best fit with a government which was based on “the laws of nature and Nature’s God” since St. Thomas Aquinas aligned Christian Theology with Natural Law. There is no conflicts since God designed Nature. The only reason they demonized the Catholic Church was because of the hatred for hierarchical government (Monarchy). Calvinism, Puritanism was anti-hierarchal.
Paul wants to dump Christian Ethics-—that which created Common Law in England and the Magna Carte—the very basis of our jurisprudence in American Law. Our government has ONE standard of Right and Wrong-—God’s and he wants to dump His standards for arbitrary law—no reason and logic based on laws of nature-—and adopt irrational standards of Barney Frank-—such immorality which always includes pederasty and incest and men like Sandusky. (Afghanistan, Middle East, Ancient Greece, Samurai, Nazi Brownshirts, Serial Killers—the basic connection between all the above is they glorified homosexual orgies and sodomy, pederasty, and infanticide. American can NEVER advocate or promote EVIL (sodomy) as “good’ . We would have laws of Satan-—not God’s laws.

I have absolutely no problem with that, in fact I am encouraged.
When I stomp a a cockroach there is no hate there. Just some small feelings of satisfaction combined with disgust, but no hate. Same feelings I have towards militant Islam.

Amen! Ron Paul is a truther. And, if Bachmann is anti-Muslim; I do believe a case could be made that Paul is anti-semitic. (BTW, I don’t believe she is anti-Muslim; but she is certainly more realistic about Iran than that nut-job.)
Ron Paul makes a big deal out of his PROFESSED” disdain for Earmarks out of one side of his mouth; and out of the other, as recently as the Thursday nite debate, states that he is not ashamed of “getting his constituents “their share” of government money.
I have heard from more than one source, that what Paul ACTUALLY does about Earmarks, is to pick a piece of legislation that he knows is a leadpipe cinch to pass by a large margin, load it with a ton of Earmarks for himself and his district, and then vote AGAINST IT when it comes up for a vote; knowing that it will pass anyhow, but thereby being able to cross his fingers behind his back while saying he never votes for Earmarks for his district.
Does anyone know whether he actually has done this?

In fact, this obsessively egotistical man's campaign is sick, without hope or merit....and succeeds only in division, scorn and disrespect visited on the Republican party during this campaign period.
His well-trained cult followers, his busing-in of supporters at various events, his small but efficient army stacking all polls....his whole campaign is skewing our primary in the grossest way......to the point that Republicans are milling around in total disarray because he's showing high when he's actually low....and we have little idea of what the true GOP primary voter mood is.
He is NOT our cute old loon in the attic....he's as dangerous a man as was Ross Perot and his well-financed lunatic campaign that appealed to the disgruntled, uninformed and weirdos......a rogue campaign that gave us two terms of Clinton.

One of the very first comments for someone who came to FR a while back was to “Have a burka!”. Everyone was offered one—man or woman. I guess Bachmann isn’t of a mind to have one.

I agree with you. Paul and his minions are dangerous. There is a good chance he will run as a third party candidate because he has NO CHANCE of becoming the Republican nominee. That will make him a spoiler like Perot. He will guarantee a second Obama term, and therefore the end of the United States as we know it.

I like to see Ron Paul during the debates — he is pure entertainment. Things can go to sh*t and he still makes me laugh.
I would suggest he show up wearing Arab garb during the next debate, stand on a prayer rug and smoke a hookah pipe and throw fallafel at the crowd.
