If Romney ends up being the nominee, then America is toast and no longer worth fighting for, IMHO.

At that point, for me, it will be anybody but Romney, even if it means Obama.

This still isn’t computing with me. Again, I do NOT want Romney to be the nominee. We can all agree he is the typical milquetoast and squishy “moderate” candidate lacking any real principles that is once again being foisted on us by a weak, timid, and spineless GOP establishment.

By the same token, how can anyone honestly claim that Romney would be worse for America than Obama, who is purposefully trying to destroy the U.S. economy and culture and replacing it with Keynesian policies and European-style Marxism/socialism? Assuming the GOP has a majority of both the House and Senate after the 2012 election, do you think Romney will veto all conservative congressional legislation like Obama would? Do you think Romney will demand and pass more trillion dollar stimulus bills? Or raise taxes on job creators? Or use the federal government to take over more private businesses via taxpayer bailouts? Or sue states that try to enforce laws against illegal immigration? Or concoct a “Fast and Furious” operation designed to curtail our Second Amendment rights? Or grant billions of dollars to failing green energy companies months before they go bankrupt? Or insist that taxpayer money fund abortions? Or implement net neutrality of the Internet? Or allow Iran to become a full-fledged nuclear state? Or leave Israel to fend for itself in an increasingly hostile Middle East?

If the answer is “no” to any of these questions, then we can at least concede he’d be a better option than that evil putrid piece of Marxist excrement Obama. Again, I absolutely do NOT want Romney to be the GOP nominee (I’m still hoping and praying Santorum or Bachmann can make a late surge, though I’d probably be ok with Gingrich or Perry), but I’m not going to go completely off the deep end like some folks here by saying I’d vote for Obama over Romney. Please!!
