Barack Obama’s speech in Osawatomie, Kansas, has certainly made waves. Well-received by the mainstream media, The Baltimore Sun wrote that the President has finally found “his voice” while the ever-dour Bill Press said that Obama was “channeling Teddy Roosevelt.” Yet if talk-show host Rush Limbaugh is correct, the President was channeling someone also long-dead but a lot more red. The radio giant asserts that Obama has “outed” himself, in that he has “announced to the world in no uncertain terms that he is a socialist, if not a Marxist.”
What did Obama say that brought cheers from the Left and jeers from the Right? Among other things, he stated that our relatively free enterprise system not only “doesn’t work” — “it has never worked.”
The first thing to note is the blindness and ingratitude evidenced by this statement. Our nation enjoys wealth unprecedented in man’s history, with its supermarkets stocked with thousands of products from the world over; and with how its “poor” people usually have cars, TVs, cellphones and other luxuries, as well as bellies that come out and greet you. So while “never worked” may describe Obama’s constituents, it can hardly be said about our system.
So our system shouldn’t be on trial here — Obama should be. But is it really fair to suggest he may be a Marxist? Or was there evidence for it all along?

The big news is that they finally found someone that knew Obama in college!
Once her days as an active terrorist were over, Bernardine Dohrn was employed by prestigious law firm Sidley & Austin from 1984 to 1988. Dohrn had been hired by Howard Trienens, the head of the firm and an associate of Thomas G. Ayers, Bill Ayers’ father. It is unclear whether Obama knew the former fugitive Dohrn through Sidley & Austin but there is no doubt that, by the time Obama joined Sidley & Austin as a summer associate, Obama had known Bill Ayers for two years through their involvement in Alliance for Better Chicago Schools.

The first thing you must understand that anything that comes out of Maryland is nuts. Although there are people that live there, they do not realize there are other other states to live in that will allow freedom of thought and have moved to them. Please , everyone in that state, move out, and let the government fend for themselves. Once that happens the State will collapse and you can move back and self govern once more
I believe that Jack Cahill in his book on Obama first found this out. also see Paul Kengor’s book “Dupes.” He is a marxist through and through — and his alledged “father” Obama was also a communist and anti-British anti-colonialist.

Obama? Who’s Obama? The answer should’ve been provided in 2008. I’m beginning to think that Obama is the symptom and not the disease.
His church attendance alone - THAT church, THAT preacher - should have been enough to disqualify him. It didn’t. There you had palpable racism. There you had the ex-editor of the Harvard Law Review who hadn’t ever written a paragraph.
The Mainstream Media failed the American people, but even there the blame game can only go so far. The American people failed. They lost their proverbial horse sense.
The exceptionalism was gone. For me the exceptionalism has nothing to do with immigrants coming over and making it, but in maintaining MUCH of the early spirit of the founders. The self-reliance. The basic fairness. The don’t-tread-on-me. The no-nonsense sense of reality.
Even Europe is full of immigrants making it or anyhow doing far better than before.
All of a sudden America became just another country capable of being suckered by a narcissist demagogue. She allowed herself to be whammied.
Wasn’t it in Iowa when Obama said: “this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal?”
Can you imagine any of the republicans now duking it out in that same State saying something like that?
What happened? How could a community organizer with no political achievements, hardly a voting record except for “present”, affiliated with terrorists, crooks and rabble rousers ever become the President of the United States?
It’s funny to me how his election is instead PROOF or American exceptionalism and not proof of that exceptionalism being gone!
No, the worst part is that McCain just gave the Marxist the power to use the military to arrest domestic terrorists which has been defined by Obama to be his social and political enemies. The media likes it!
This has been painfully clear for some time.

Spot on. There’s volumes of data on this Manchurian Candidate president if the media would report it. But truthfully, his supporters do not give a damn as long as they get their handouts and affirmative action programs.
