(CNN) An independent group supporting Rick Perry's presidential bid is up with an ad supporting the Texas governor in the early voting states of Iowa and South Carolina, according to the group, Make Us Great Again.
The pro-Perry political action committee released the 30-second spot as part of a $388,000 buy on broadcast television, cable television and radio that paints Perry as an outside-Washington reformer who will improve the United States economy.

Love it!
It’s very good! :)
I have been aggressive critic of Perry since his heartless insult and opposition to any enforcement (sorry, imaginary wall does not count), but given the threat of open amnesty nominee, I’m willing to give Perry another chance.
If he gives 100% pledge to oppose any form of amnesty (including ending current admin policy of stopping deportations) AND push for real enforcement (e-verify), then I’m willing to come back.
Just don’t insult my intelligence by proposing imaginary wall and virtual surveillance.
Nonetheless, $388,000 down the rathole: nobody has any faith in Rick Perry anymore. He’s got great hair but a small brain and his performance so far is what did him in.
One thing that makes me nervous about both Perry and Romney is that they look “too” presidential. Or, to be more specific, they look too much like a “movie” president.
The only guy that looks more presidential than these two guys is Morgan Freeman.
I do, and thank you for your service, Marine.
—...nobody has any faith in Rick Perry anymore...
He was not my first choice, but from the current field he is now. And I have more faith in him than the rest of them. But that’s not saying a whole lot.
I've noticed that alot of folks are starting to have similar thoughts. :)
Keep them coming rick
It is something to ponder in light of this:
It should also be mentioned that advocates of amnesty should not be taken seriously if they claim to be also in favor of tougher border control. It is simply not credible that advocates of amnesty will be reliably tough on controlling the borders.
~Newt Gingrich 2006
I was a Cain supporter in the beginning but of all the candidates, Perry is the one who deserves another look. Come on people, give Perry a 2nd chance to earn your vote.
Honestly, I would rather have Perry who pretends he doesn't want amnesty than Newt who guarantees it.
Here’s one for you:
I agree that some kind of electronic verification system is needed so we can make sure employers comply with the law not to hire illegal immigrants. E-Verify is a federal government created and run program, and as a result there have been a number of problems with it so far. The Department of Homeland Security estimated the system could fail to identify more than half of all illegal immigrants.
But just because it has problems doesnt mean we should throw employee verification out. It means we should make it work. Employee verification needs to be accurate so American citizens arent denied jobs based on bad data and undocumented immigrants dont slip through the system. And it needs to be less cumbersome for employers to use, so its not costing them money they could be using to create jobs.
So as president, Id work to put in place an E-Verify system thats more accurate, less burdensome and really delivers the results we need it to.
I think his debate performance has been unfortunate, but his performance as my governor for the last decade has been excellent, and he has a refreshing quality in a politician: the ability to admit when he’s made an error. I’m with him.
The way I see it:
only a `red-baiter’ like President Richard Nixon could successfully engage in ping-pong diplomacy with the Chinese;
only Slick Willie Clinton could have triangulated cooling our welfare jets in the `90s; and,
only Rick “If I Only Had a Heart” Perry will be able to attack the Gordion’s Knot that is our southwest border.
IF you'd rather NOT be pinged FReepmail me.
IF you'd like to be added FReepmail me. Thanks.
