NEW YORK (AP) - The overnight police raids in Philadelphia and Los Angeles that dismantled two of the nation's biggest Occupy Wall Street encampments leave just a few major "occupations" still going on around the U.S. But activists are already changing tactics and warning of a winter of discontent, with rallies and marches every week.
The camps may bloom again in the spring, organizers said, and next summer could bring huge demonstrations at the Republican and Democratic conventions, when the whole world is watching. But for now they are promoting dozens of smaller actions, such as picketing the president in New York and staging sit-ins at homes marked for foreclosure.

On Wednesday, masked sanitation workers hauled away 25 tons of debris from the lawns around Los Angeles City Hall after police raided the protesters' camp in the middle of the night and arrested more than 300 people. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa said it would cost about $1 million to clean up the site. In Philadelphia, dozens of police patrolled a plaza outside City Hall after sweeping it of demonstrators and arresting 50.

Figure the million to clean the mess up and at least five million for overtime hours for the cops throughout the last couple of weeks. In the end....the naive citizen of town gets stuck with the bill. It’s a sad system.
They are warning of a winter of discontent?...
How poetic!...Got a job you f’ing bums!
It’s hard to decide which one is more despicable, Mayor Antonio or Chief Charlie. I think I’ll choose the police chief Beck, obviously castrated long ago so in turn he castrates his entire force.
I watched for a few hours last night until I was tired of waiting for the police to DO SOMETHING and sick of watching the filthy commies mill about.
Finally, oh-so-gently and oh-so-tenderly, the delicate and expensive operation of “taking out the trash” took place. Shame, shame, shame.
The only ones who got hurt were the cops who threw their backs out picking up the “protestors” and gently carting them off to the hoosegow.
Mayor Villygarossa (as George Putnam used to call him) made sure his emasculated police department were nice to his base.
Too bad we don't have a debtor's prison till these vermin pay the cleanup bill!

I was looking at the last post(of 16 hours ago) on occupy wall street, says police are reattempting to raid occupy Los Angeles , hmmm do you think the person who posted this was arrested ? LOL
I thought about that, how physically strenuous and punishing this was for the police officers, as I watched some of the videotape this morning.
The hazmat suits worn for the clean-up are not cheap gear either and who knows what the crew is exposed to from the nauseating TONS of filth and garbage left behind.
They would have eventually left because they had so polluted the area with their waste they couldn’t live in it anymore.
Does that include the trash they left behind?
Liberalism is a disease.
Some LAPD wore white Bio-Hazard suits:

The removal and clean up alone must have cost taxpyers over $1,000,000.
You haul 25 tons, what do you get?
Cholera, the Clapp and one more I forget
Obama don’t you call me cause I can’t go
There’s a half ton more
in the encampment free store
Next time, the city officials and police need to enforce the same rules they insisted on for the tea parties from the second an occupation starts.
Plus, where they “occupied” has just gone through a pricy landscaping porject and new grass.
It is now barren dirt.
Hey ES did you hear on KFI John and Ken show just now they reported that bottle of urine was left at encampment
Can you say EEEEWWWWW
