Pro-Palin group to run ads in Iowa

(CNN) - A pro-Sarah Palin group will start airing TV ads Wednesday in Iowa, urging the former Alaska governor to reconsider her decision against running for president.

Palin announced she wouldn't launch a White House bid in early October, ending years of speculation that the 2008 GOP vice presidential running mate might seek the Republican nomination in 2012.

Conservatives4Palin, a large online group, made the ad buy for $6,500.

The group said the ad will air for a week in Sioux City, with spots during ABC's "Good Morning America" and "Dr. Oz," as well as during local news programs in the evening.

"What are these people? Cultist? It’s disturbing."

No, they're not "cultists." They're concerned conservative Americans who know that the current crop of "GOP" offerings are all crap. Who know that our one best chance of taking this whole thing back is Sarah Palin.

What is "disturbing" are naysaying, knee-jerk, brain-dead pukes like you who continue to publicly urinate on those of us too smart to accept the rancid pablum we're being force-fed by the GOP and trash like you.

Hair plugs like you are the biggest reason why Palin didn't run in the first place. Nice gig if you can keep your lunch down, and stomach looking at yourself in morning.

“Didn’t want to take a salary cut?”

Yeah, that was probably it.

I voted Perot the first time; got us Clinton. We were chastised never to do it again, and I subscribed to it.

Now I realize that business as usual, D or R is just a choice between sawing your arm off slowly, or chopping it off.

We have the House- we need to take the Senate. If no true Conservative gets the repub nomination- I am not afraid of running a third party. The Senate can block SCOTUS nominations.

The GOP needs to get the message, and become a real alternative, or become history.

Won’t people ever wake up that it is the Main Stream Media that chooses our candidates. Sara Palin is not to their liking.

Might be time to change the way the system works. If it isn't, we are wasting our time pecking away on our keyboards here on FR.

You will stand in judgement for every single word. Every jot and tittle. I hope I get to see it.

There remain those who will continue with their snarky quips for as long as the smell of their own flesh searing doesn't gag their screams in their throats.

Don't be that guy...

LMAO!!!

The Tea Party will not tolerate Myth.

Not just the Tea Party. 75% of the Republican party don't want Romney the chameleon whether it be Tea Party folks, movement conservatives, etc, etc. If you think about it, it is the ONE thing unifying most of us (aside from agreeing that Obama is a failed socialist disaster). Yes, we all may be supporting different candidates or struggling to decide who to vote for - but I have never seen EVERY conservative/Republican I know so completely unified against our supposed front runner. I STILL can't find a conservative that I either know or even just interact with who supports Mitt. None. I just can't find these mythical Romney supporters. I did discover a pro-Mitt forum exists, but there was virtually no activity on it at all.

I hope the ads are for Herman Cain!

> I thought she has missed some filing deadlines?
Don’t matter. She could always jump in; take enough states to just be a contender, and then sweep the nominating convention.

Nothing wrong with what they are doing, but why not be more direct. Are the Palins still living in Wasilla? Go there. Type a petition with 1 million signatures or more, hand it to her personally, stage a Tea Party rally in Wasilla. Get the lawyers to volunteer in advance to serve as the protectors and the citizenry to protect against the vicious attacks certain to come on her and her family.

Personally, I still don’t buy why Sarah didn’t enter this race, as given everything that’s unfolded, she was prime to step in as the Anti-Romney candidate and take command of the race. But she didn’t. The Palins as a whole are fighters, so I don’t buy the family reason she gave. Unless she and Todd are expecting another child (which could be a strange possibility), I don’t know why she sat out.

I agree.

The R’s in the senate and house (even some “rino’s”, but especially some supposed Tea Party shirkers) will perhaps get the message if we vote off the plantation for potus, then they might just tow the line instead of business as usual once we vote their way. No more trusting Lucy to hold the ball, here.
That is part of why I am not sure I trust Newt. Promises, promises...

But hopefully they will hear those of us who are saying this, and stop positioning the sort of person who will make us do that.

Did you see the new Palin documentary???

It's the third and final movie in the trilogy:
First was 1) The Passion
Then was 2) The Undecided
The final chapter is out 3) The Unwilling

Palin: The unwilling

From 'Game on' to 'Game over'.

I think there is too much cronyism; DC, the lobbyists and the Beltway Bandits have too much to lose. They are a world unto themselves.

Their world needs to be shaken heavily. People need to be sent packing who are not part of the solution.

Things may have to get worse before they get better. I’m not a populist, but a patriot/populist/values chord needs to be struck by a Conservative before the wrong communist strikes it.

“I thought she has missed some filing deadlines?”

True, but outside groups can mount a write-in campaign.

RE :”Then why did’t she run?

PSST, you are not supposed to ask that question. It's a sore subject. Don't you remember that everyone saying ‘she shouldn't’ run was a labeled a Sarah hating PDSer ?? Well... then dont imply that Sarah didnt want Sarah to run.
