I will never forget the winter I spent in Millington, TN while attending a Marine Corps school in the early 70s.
Ice storms, snow ,, ran into some nasty stuff in NC too.. being from Minniesoda, no problem, I like it cool.
dang that global warming anyway tho.. ;-)

I’m in central Kentucky. I drove through about a half mile of snowfall on my way to work this morning. That was about it. It’s been unseasonably warm around here, so the locals say. All good things must come to an end...

My wife won't let me forget the two years we spent in Millington. Probably a happening place when the base was still running wide open, but not so much anymore...

I spent time in Millington, Tn attending aviation electronics school, in the early months of 1970. Then was stationed at Cherry Point, NC.

I'm about 5 miles south of Millington, but was raised in So.Calif. I would trade Tn for Calif in a heartbeat.
Snowed here all night and up into the morning. I miss my Lake Arrowhead home.

Here it is, the 29th of Nov, and not on snowflake yet. Never remember that happening before.
Then again, look at that king flake in DC.
