That is a horrifying story, BobL! I am so glad that you saw something suspicious. Once again, it pays to be aware of your surroundings (even driving) at all times. I do know it is recommended NOT to place big ticket item boxes on the curb or in the recycling box (especially after Christmas). I don’t know how many times that I have seen a computer box, XBox box etc... the first trash pick up day after Christmas.

Thanks. As far as boxes go...EXACTLY. I go through a difficult process of breaking up and folding boxes, and then putting them in plastic bags, before disposing of them. One of my neighbors had them fully intact, as if he was DISPLAYING them...it’s mind-boggling how unaware people can be.

Last Christmas wifey got me something I'd wanted for a long time.....a 'Skil' brand lithium ion rechargable power cutter; it makes slicing up a huge box a thirty second job - zips through cardboard and plastic like soft butter.
