I think Newt was certainly courageous bringing this to the forefront....not to mention it will be surely discussed at tables over the holdiay and few watching the media’s spin on TV. So the timing was good despite some thinking he’s for amnesty style appraoches.
If he weathers the backlash from this I have no doubt he’ll take the Presidency. If he doesn’t and goes down then better now than later.
Protecting American taxpaying CITIZENS instead of pandering to foreigners with handouts is inhumane???
That should be the end of his political career IMO.
