Newt would crush Hussein in any debate.

Newt is an adult. A grown man with a lifetime of education and political experience. Obama has the life experience of a teenager, which is why he behaves like one.

The Dems are terrified of the debate you described. They are terrified of Newt vs. Obama.

Newt has and will fold like a cheap suit as soon as somebody drops by his office with the pictures and numbered account files.

Newt is all mouth and NO SPINE. Where do you think the image of a the spineless GOP is derived from?

The RinoCracy ran him out of town as hard and fast as they could 12 years ago BECAUSE of his Contract With America which was the last meaningful threat to the DC status quo.

He had’nt the ability then to cash the check his mouth wrote...and if anything the Rinocracy is orders of magnitude stronger now they they ever were.

The Rinocracy is willing to hoist him up at the moment...because they have the file to use to rip his guts out right before they coronate Romney.

Newt would crush Hussein in any debate.

Of course he would. But then, there is life after the debates, and that is where the be question regarding Gingrich is.

Recall the last 4 years of GWB, and we didn't know which side of most things he was going to be on? That would be Gingrich x 100. Gingrich is erratic and inconsistent. He is conservative at one point, liberal-on-a-couch the next.

For all his claims of conservatism, he did the Contract with America, after all, he has been the quintessential Washington beltway insider for the past decade. Like McCain in 2008, Gingrich is a great part of the problem in Washington. Like McCain in 2008, he claims he is the one to fix them.

Are you kidding? The 0 machine is panting to run against Newt in 2012. He is the one GOP candidate who the 0 PR machine can credibly paint in 2012 as a DC insider to independent voters. Like McCain in 2008 and Dole in 1996 Newt is the good old GOP Establishment boy that the GOP machine will convince themselves is political “genius” to run.

And then, when confronted by the most fabulously unethical, dishonest well funded Campaign machine in US History, their “good old boy” will be painted as part of the corrupt Washington DC Establishment that “wrecked” the Economy.

Newt will be lucky to win 200 Electoral votes.

The GOP is about to make a major mistake.

It is going to run yet another GOP bot who the incumbent Democrat machine will be able to demagogue and out populist.

Newt is DOA in the General Election.

Too bad the GOP-bot machine is too politically incompetent to realize it.
