A Republican politician has sparked religious fury by demanding all Muslims be forced out of the U.S. military.
Tennessee State Representative Rick Womick claimed serving Muslims posed a significant threat and needed to be kicked out of the armed forces because their religion commands them to lie.
Interviewed on Veteran's Day by the Think Progress website he said: 'Personally I don't trust one Muslim in our military because they're commanded to lie to us.
'And if they really are a devout Muslim and follow the Koran and the and the Sunnah, then I feel threatened because they're commanded to kill me.'
Mr Womick was attending the 'Preserving Freedom Conference hosted by the controversial group, the Sharia Awareness Action Network.
Asked if he felt that serving Muslims should be 'forced out' he replied: 'Absolutely yes.'
He later reasserted his opinions in an interview with the Murfreesboro Daily News adding: 'Who are we at war with?
'We are at war with al-Qaeda and the Taliban, who are Muslims. It's a Catch-22. They are not allowed to kill their fellow Muslims, we're at war with Muslims.
'The only solution I see is that they not be allowed in the military.'

Islam is a political system shrouded in a thin veil of religion. It should be treated as such.
All Muslims should be kicked out of the US. There, fixed it.
While I’m in agreement with the premise, is it realistic to expect a military that is domonated by PC to the point of accepting homosexuals, will be able to “discriminate” against Islamists.
In a world where you can’t call a pervert a pervert and you can’t call a terrorist a terrorist, it is unlikely that our military will find the resolve to act in our best interests.
I agree, but the military would not have a commander in chief. Not saying that’s a bad thing given who it is.

It still is not too late to rid this great country of those that are trying to destroy us from within. People need to wake up before it is too late and citizens being hacked do to sharia law!

I served under a muslim NCO in the army in the 90’s (I am ethnically part jew, saved by His grace). He was a very good man and one of the best soldiers that I ever knew. He was born and raised in Texas as I remember.

There are a whole lot of dead people in Libya, Egypt, Syria, Yemen, and Tunisia who would be surprised to hear that.
Elections have long range consequences. Electing Clinton and Obammy is showing US what ‘fundamentally transforming America’ means. And lest we forget, Elena Kagan and her lesbo sidekick will be infesting the SCOTUS for a very long time if not impeached and removed. Think what it means to the sexual devaint communtiy to have at least three homosexuals on the High Court.
The better parallel would be how “sauerkraut” became “Liberty Cabbage” during the Great War, when ALL Germans became suspect in their support of the US war effort. In WWII, most of the Germans had cleaned up their act, and chose to intergrate into the mainstream of American life, but the unfortunate Japanese descendants were rounded up and impounded in camps far from their established residences. Those ethnic Japanese were allowed to become soldiers only if they were sent to war in regions far removed from the Far East.
By all standards the sons of Japanese acquitted themselves well, being among the most decorated of units in that engagement that liberated Italy. But then, they had little likelihood of deserting or becoming a double agent.
Not so with Muslims, who are Islamists first, and only superficially have the veneer of being American. They are not reliable in any confrontation with Muslim-dominant fighting forces, regular or irregular. And there is almost no alternate front to place them where they would NOT be facing other Muslims.
