The REAL Cain Scandal (video cringe alert...has NOTHING to do with Gloria Allred)
Michelle Malkin ^ | November 14, 2011 | Michelle Malkin

Posted on 11/14/2011 2:50:42 PM PST by St. Louis Conservative

It has nothing to do with anything Gloria Allred has her hands in.

It’s his continued lack of preparedness on, and familiarity with, basic domestic and foreign policy issues. Sorry, Cain fans. Tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. But like Rick Perry, Herman Cain is just not ready for prime time. The real Cain scandal: He can barely form a coherent thought on Libya when put on the spot and garbles collective bargaining 101 facts.

Watch for yourselves. Take anti-depressants or a stiff drink first:

On Libya (listen for the part where he excuses his hemming and hawing by explaining that he has “a lot of stuff twirling around in his head”)…

This, from that noted RINO Michelle Malkin.

I guess we'll get a "clarification" of this later today or tomorrow like we have on every other question he's flubbed.

I’m still voting for Cain over RINO Romney and Global-warming Gingrich.

Can see the video, but reports suggest it was pretty bad. Worse that Perry’s 53 seconds.

Question: Will Hannity be discussing this on his show tonight? Or ever? Will Rush or Levin be defending this?

I didn't see the whole debate because they basically make me gag (letting the leftist MSM steer the debate and interrupt before the candidates have a chance to get into any kind of depth at all).

My question is, is there any truth to what Malken's saying, RINO status notwithstanding?

Wow - 3 threads. Must be really bad. Now who? Seems like it all comes back to Bachman - my first choice!

I still dont care

look at the mess the ‘professional’ politicians have gotten us into

We need a BUSINESSMAN and pair him up with Gingrich

Or Gingrich/Cain

Cringe alert is right. The worst thing is the appearance of a pattern - this same problem has cropped up in interviews about abortion and with Herman’s initial statements regarding the bogus harassment charges. He has to spend an inordinate amount of time walking back and clarifying his statements.

when y’all locate the perfect human who never makes a garbled statement or makes a statement that is not perfectly constructed, let the rest of us know. I don’t know of anyone inside or outside of politics that does not occasionally come up with a less than desirable answer to a question.

Seeing our side pick apart our own people hyper-analyzing every single sentence they utter is going to kill our party and reelect Obama. These folks are on the spot morning, noon and night of every day answering any number of questions on virtually every subject.

I would rather have an honest President fumble his way through a learning curve than a Muslim Communist destroying America on the New World Order Ruling Elite’s orders.

This has nothing to do with Herman Cain the person. It has everything to do with nominating a competent person to lead the party. Someone who is educated and knowledgable on the issues and won’t flub questions. We all know the media cuts the Dems all the breaks and the Republicans none. That sucks, but it’s reality. That means we need to nominate someone who isn’t gonna forget things while debating and who isn’t gonna give whirlwind contradictory answers and sound uninformed and ill-prepared.

Same here. I’ll vote for a man I trust to hire good people over a RINO any day of the week.

Speaking of cringeworthy moments, I saw Donald Trump this morning saying that we don’t know if Pakistan has nukes.

He’s a quick study... How much did BO know about foreign policy other than he was a foreigner. He knows the muslim world well. But he has no clue about America!

That’s my thought on the subject!

..everybody should go back and watch Reagan's 1st 1984 debate with Mondale--people were getting out the shovels to bury the confused old man--he then went on to win 49 states...

Let's see....I'm a candidate and have been hounded, with no specifics about vague accusations of 'sexual harassment' more than any public figure heretofore and I'm on my game and can answer a question about Libya where our Halfrican President aided Muslim Brotherhood zealots to take control?

Rush played an excruciatingly painful clip (a minute or two of 7 -count them- Seven minutes!) of Obama having a verbal seizure on camera? SEVEN MINUTES of seizure crap for Cripes Sake! And not one God damned word from the MSM?

How about Perry's senior moment at the debate? Actually, I gave him a pass on that, more concerned about his pandering to Hispanics and illegal aliens.

I don't give a rat's ass about this.Cain can go on Leno and say "Hey, gimme a pass. I didn't understand Obama wants us all dead and is setting up a new Muslim gubment to make it happen".....Sorry, this don't pass the smell test.

I’m tempted to say have fun with Obama’s 2nd term, but I think it’s highly unlikely that Cain will win the nomination at this point.

I know Mike Lee was just elected. ANd he’s only 40.

ANd he was a district attorney.

BUT.... he is well spoken. He asked Holder questions last week in a very
measured manner at a VERY HIGH CABINET OR PRESIDENTIAL LEVEL.

WHAT I AM SAYING IS.... there ARE conservatives who are knowledgeable
and can respond to policy and political questions.

Mike Lee for Attorney General in the new Republican Administration

Yah thanks Moochelle. You mean he’s not on a teleprompter? Sounds like a great thing to me. Rather a human being than a teleprompter robot.
