Remember during 2008's Democratic primaries when Saturday Night Live did a hilarious sketch mocking a CNN debate as being a disgraceful suck-up to then presidential candidate Barack Obama? A repeat of this happened in real life Sunday evening when during a press conference from the APEC summit in Hawaii, CNN White House correspondent Dan Lothian actually asked the President if the GOP candidates were "uninformed, out of touch, or irresponsible" (video follows courtesy Right Scoop with transcript and commentary, photo courtesy AP):

Are CNN correspondents uninformed, out of touch, or just plain stupid?

What is happening is that the liberal press has noticed that republican in-fighting is giving rise to a boost in Obama’s ratings.

Newt has been right all along. The others from Bachmann to Romney, have been providing family food fight entertainment to the nation and have looked ridiculous by comparison to Obama.

That is hard to do....but they have managed it well.

I have a question for Dan Lothian: Hey Dan, have you stopped beating your wife yet?

Hmmm some how I don't ever recall CNN asking a Republican candidates this about Obama.

And we are suppose to believe they are objective and not Obama political hacks.

Dan Lothian, is it Constitutional for POTUS to assassinate US citizens?

It was a dangerously good answer to the root question about waterboarding as torture.

Waterboarding IS torture, and I believe torture that does no physical harm (cuttting off ears or tongues or blinding, etc.) is an acceptable way of gaining intelligence.

"But they'll be psychologically scarred for life!"

Oh f'cryin' out loud... The men that returned from war(s) and never spoke of it, yet loved their country, wives, raised families, succeeded in many business ventures ... they weren't scarred?

I think history relieves the 'pain' of the scarred as they learn what they did was right.

This is getting out of control just when I though the media may have to turn on this Loser in Chief they are digging their heels in ever so deeper. They are running the debates, misinforming the public and gearing up for full campaign mode to support this last 3 years of H*ll as if it were Heaven.

They had all of the help in the world from the republican leadership... they could not have killed the republican’s chances without those “leaders”..
