It was a bizarre juxtaposition. This Monday, I found myself in downtown Los Angeles while my wife, an Israeli green card holder, took her test for citizenship. “It is a privilege to become a citizen of this country,” she told me before heading into the immigration office. Across the street, hundreds of American citizens protested American capitalism at the Occupy Los Angeles protests. Their tent city stretched for blocks. Fortunately for me, I now had a couple of hours to kill and a camera in my car. Thus began my journey into the heart of moral and intellectual vapidity.

I am sorry, but I think everybody is being a complete jerk about these admittedly dopey camp outs. But the fact of the matter is this: Poor people are suffering and losing their homes through no fault of their own. Globalists have moved all the jobs outside the country and times are truly very ridiculous and difficult. People are losing their homes, their jobs, health insurance and our sick society wants them to concentrate on drugs and sex. There is no God in our country today, just healthy doses of greed and Satan. Lies emanate from the top of the administration on down and no one gives a flying flip.
So, instead of focusing on OWS, how about focusing on fixing the country? Get back to real American business, bring the jobs back here from outside the country, beat back the over regulation of business and the under-regulation of the financial sector, support your local church or synagogue, identify lying, thievery, sex outside of marriage, and Islam as the true problems.
These people are the asshole of the body politic.

If you’re calling on others to do something that you’re not doing, then YOU are part of the problem. Stop being a cry-baby, buck up, and get active.
I was calling attention to the fact that people on here think that by criticizing OWS they are doing something. But they are not. I am a single mom, mother of kids trying to recover from treachery and not bloody likely to have time to help. But there are plenty of others who can and I am calling on them to do so instead of saying something stupid like “Get a job” and thinking they have the answer to anything.
Suit yourself, single mom.
I am a single dad with 2 kids also recovering from despicable treachery and a 25% pay cut at work. I live what you’re saying every day (I can relate). But I am active BECAUSE of my kids.
