Let Me Say,Happy Veterans Day to all My Fellow Veterans and espechially to those who are serving Now in all the potential hell holes on the planet earth.
I served with the U.S.A.F. in the Strategic Air Command, Pacific Air Forces In the Republic of Korea and Prior to that at Air Force Systems Command at Patrick AFB.1974-1980.

Present Mostly. USAF 71-77 Meteorologist. Took alot of heat but never a bullet.

Six years USAF. Played Taps for some of our last guys out of Viet Nam as Bugle Sgt at Biloxi AFB for almost a year during Ground Radio Maintenance and Repair tech school.
The closest I got to a “Hot Spot” was some of the Discos in Madrid, or maybe when that new kid in Radar Maintenance reversed Hot and Gnd installing a new plug on our shared portable blower motor... (I was still able to bend at the waist when I failed to keep one hand in my pocket, and managed to touch the unit to the metal floor of the portable ATC trailer I was blowing out, welding it there and slagging a 20 Amp breaker.)
